Just popped to Sainsburys Great Yarmouth to get some school jumpers. Found a pack of two red v neck cotton school jumpers priced at £8.00 but they tilled up at £4.00 plus the current 25% off clothing automatically applied making them £3.00! As I was at self service and didn't want an embarrassing scene at the door, I asked them to check the price. They confirmed some school uniform has been reduced and the price was correct. I asked if I could grab another pack and then bought two packs of two jumpers for £6.00. The size I bought was aged 8 with barcode 505468431973. Sorry, I didn't ask if this was store specific. Plenty of other sizes left.

In my time which was like 30 odd years ago now school jumpers was Pringle or nothing for everyone who was anyone, the scratchers made do with Gabicci but non branded sweaters was not an option.
No Pringle sweater, no Farah trousers, no Luhta snow camo jacket and no Nike Wimbledon trainers would have equated to no going to school
