(UPDATE: My first entry was correct on £349.99 as discount code was clearly stated for £50.00 and items price is £399.99, however this code reduces £60.00 (should be an error somewhere) on the checkout. For that reason, I m correcting the price here as well to £339.99)
(Edit: I was thinking that the price after discount code would be £349.99 however it seems some people purchased this washing machine for £339.99 (couple of people was mentioning that on comments) with free delivery (without installation and/or recycling). Discount code (50INSTALL) should be worth of £50.00, however it reduces the price £60.00 which is better ... I could not realised that as I purchased it with installation and recycling and mine cost around £374.00)
SAMSUNG ecobubble WF80F5E2W4X Washing Machine - Graphite/8KG+5 YEARS WARRANTY
I have just purchased one of these as it seemed very good price to me. 5 years parts and labour warranty from Samsung was the main point for me as well as 8kg rather then 7kg. There is a £50 discount code (add 50INSTALL) and FREE DELIVERY as well. If you need installation, this code also give you another £10 on installation cost. Makes it from £20 to £10. If you can install it, Machine will cost you £349.99. If you want it to be delivered in specific time, you will have to pay £20 but if you choice all day delivery, that one is free. There is a £15 charge for recycling your old product if you want to.
There is a little bit of a cash back from topcasback.co.uk that around %1. Why not???
Nice machine, nice price, nice warranty and it seemed a nice deal to me. I hope you guys will agree and I hope some of you will be happy with this deal. Thanks...
DISCOUNT CODE - £50 off the marked price. Enter code 50INSTALL at checkout. Also available in store. Hurry, ends Tuesday!
Save £50 off the marked price. For home delivery orders enter code 50INSTALL at checkout. For reserve and collect orders, discount will be applied in store. Offer ends 26/09/16. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Five-year manufacturer’s guarantee

Eco-conscious
The Samsung WF80F5E2W4X boasts an impressive A+++ rating for energy efficiency thanks to Samsung's ecobubble™ technology. In addition, the Samsung WF80F5E2W4X features a Diamond Drum design to protect your fabrics while it washes them.
A whole host of programmes
The Samsung WF80F5E2W4X Washing Machine features a selection of washing programmes allowing the selection of the most appropriate option to suit each laundry load.

Good price. Unfortunately ours, in white, has had to have the entire drum (both plastic outer & metal inner) replaced twice. Then the rubber drum seal & bearings replaced. It's just over year old. So you are going to need that 5year warranty.
Its also the noisiest washing machine we have ever had the misfortune to own.
Good luck.

That must be a bad luck product. We have a graphite one bought almost two years ago and luckily nothing wrong so far. My misses really likes it and I don't think is too loud.

When you say noisy is it a rumbling sound that you can hear when you rotate the drum by hand? But then it's deafening when on a spin cycle?
If so, sounds like bearings on the way out, which is worrying. I have the 9kg version and am very pleased (and it's whisper quiet) but before that I had a newish Hotpoint so I know all about noisy/low quality bearings. Was hoping the Samsung would use decent ones.

Sorry to hear that. It is going to be first time for us with the Samsung Washing machine but now of days washing machines are usually not going years other than Miele I believe. That is why we are usually going for cheap ones with the longer warranty possible.

We went for the wf80f5e5u4x which is a bit dearer- different model to this one ( we paid £369) from JL but is much quieter - actually it's the quietest machine we have owned, love it. O I forgot J L only charge £9 to recycle your existing washer!

That's a shame but I think you're just unlucky. We bought this one 2 years ago after being impressed by the one in a holiday home, it's used at least twice a day and it's great: quiet apart from the tunes it plays , quick and efficient.

I don't think anyone really needs "good luck" with this great washer except yourself.(no offence).you must have had bad luck with it because as others also mentioned,we had this washer for 2 years and it's the absolute best washing machine we ever owned.
no more noisy than any other machine and works perfectly.washes really nice and clean too.
prior to that we had a Bosch that failed after 1.5 years and before that we had awful washing machines by Hotpoint and Candy.
Samsung,LG and Miele are the best washing machines you can buy these days for sure.\
long warranty should always be a priority with any brand regardless.

That is right, we have missed that one as well as the Samsung' s 9 kg one (it was on hot uk deals few days ago) and was quite upset to be honest! But this deal is not too bad as well and cheaper when you compare with those deals. When thinking the life time of this products probably not going to be more than 5 or 6 years, cheapest would be ideal imo.

I work for Siemens and get a good discount for Bosch. They are by far some of the best machines out there. But I also have a little more experience as I use to work at Knowhow for Currys back in my student days. Bosch again were the best company to deal with over the phone with customer problems. If you have any questions, do ask about Currys.

Bought this Samsung Washer from AO in white a couple of weeks ago. They priced matched £349 Currys (99p cheaper than Argos) http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/laundry/washing-machines/samsung-ecobubble-wf80f5e0w2w-washing-machine-white-21904574-pdt.html as it's £398 on their own site, and also knocked £20 off as I'd phoned AO a few days before after my 2.5 year old Beko had packed in due to the PCB gone (bear in mind I live on my own). So I got my Samsung Ecobubble WF80F5E0W2W for £329. Seems to be ok so far, and I like that it switched itself off after 10 mins if no buttons are pressed at end of cycle.

Beware of the warranty situation, I registered with Samsung within 1 week of of purchase from JLewis, gave all the details including the serial number to get the extra 3 years warranty, but they now deny I registered.
Don't have any issues with the machine just checked with them to make sure they had my warranty recorded as the initial 2 years warranty were up, hopefully I won't need the warranty.
BTW when I rang them to check they said I had not registered, but were able to offer my an extra 3 years cover for £99 if I wanted it, sounds like a warranty scam to me

They will do this deal in store too and have a lot of machines for collection. I work in LKA and the top washing machines right now are LG and Samsung. Miele are still top dog and always will be for what they are but if your looking for top features without reducing quality go LG or Samsung. Mile machines are very basic..
Because lower priced machines like Hotpoints and such have a 1 year guarantee and will go within 2 years nowadays thanks to low grade materiels in fact most the ones made in italy will not to mention the features on this machine like ecobubble and diamond drum make this a great machine. I for one love keeping my clothes looking new. Using a lower priced machine frays threads on clothes and destroys fabrics over time so you may save £100 on the machine but pay well over that on replacing clothes. Its like the guy who buys an expensive coffee machine instead of going costa. Why buy a £300 coffee machine when a costa is only £3 right?

Agreed. I've had bad luck with Samsung. Phones - Ace 2 ground to a halt shortly after purchase, note 2 that went laggy to a random dialing. Fridge freezer that has constantly filled with ice from new (despite claiming to be frost free).
I heard on a Ministry of Defence recruitment advert about fixing a Samsung radar system, and a recent hospital visit the scanner had Samsung written on it.

 What a bad luck with Samsung, sorry to hear that. However it could happen with any brand. Now of days non of the brands are as good as before. Even Mercedes is not doing the same quality cars as they used to 20 years ago. I was okay with Samsung product so far. Last three years I have been using Note 3 and I could use it couple of more years as it is still doing the job. Again, I m not crazy about Samsung brand, however this is a good deal and you can only trust the other makes as much as Samsung. Only the Miele is in different league imo.

It's the Bearings again for us I beleive - sounds like a plane taking off - reallyreallyloud.
As I said so far:
Rubber vibration mounts disintegrated - replaced.
Inner and Outer Drums replaced - Twice!
Rubber Drum to Door seal disintegrating & bearing worn - replaced
Now it sounds that the whole thing is still unbalanced inside (not externally - minimal vibration visible externally )
I noticed small weights on the drum; when the repairman was replacing it (the second time). Bit like the type one balances wheels with.
Positive it would need to be rebalanced due to two complete inner & Outer drum changes?
I sort of can't see an end to this. How many more times before we either get a refund or replacement.

The repairman (let's just call him family given the frequent visits) ensures me that Samsung are of a far better build than many many others he has seen.
Apart from the exceedingly annoying tune on completion (yeah it's a Marmite thing - and I Know that I can silence it), when the washing machine is working.. it's ace. The bigger drum is worth it alone. The eco bubble -nah!.

I currently have an LG who plays a little tune when she's finished her job. Can anyone who's heard both the LG tune and the Samsung tune please comment on which tune sounds nicer? And before anyone says it, I've already been to Currys - apparently they've no way to place the LG and the Samsung side by side and run a wash on each so I can wait til the end to listen to the tunes and decide for myself which is better. I only use 800 spin to prolong the life of the bearings. There's a test somewhere on the net and the difference in the amount of water left in the clothes between say 1400 and 1600 is about a thimble full.
Granted it's a bit more between 800 and 1600 but that's what a washing line or dryer is for.

You are welcome. Happy to help... Bosch has a big name of course, but I m not sure if they do 5 years warranty. Their warranty should be either 1 or 2 years and they are usually more expensive than this deal when look for the similar specs. However with this Samsung, you have got 5 years parts and labour and 10 years motor warranty. Basically you don't have to worry about anything for the next five years.

Within experience, other than Miele, they are not gonna last year's. For that reason, my main focus was finding something with at least 5 years parts and labour warranty. This Samsung seemed reasonable with the price and the warranty. When I checked reviews, most people seemed happy and some not. We will see. At least I know that I m not gonna pay anything for the repair next five years.

Thanks...

If time is of the essence the Quick Wash program will get the job done in 15 minutes and for delicate or sensitive skin, the Baby Care programme will minimise the detergent residues in the fabric.

Only thing is make sure you phone Samsung to activate your 5 year warranty as there is no mention of it in the paperwork or online.
there are no engineers here, so if it goes faulty they issue with a redemption number and you walk into currys and buy another one
Currys hate it, the girl behind the desk was sick to death of Samsung

Its also the noisiest washing machine we have ever had the misfortune to own.
Good luck.
If so, sounds like bearings on the way out, which is worrying. I have the 9kg version and am very pleased (and it's whisper quiet) but before that I had a newish Hotpoint so I know all about noisy/low quality bearings. Was hoping the Samsung would use decent ones.
no more noisy than any other machine and works perfectly.washes really nice and clean too.
prior to that we had a Bosch that failed after 1.5 years and before that we had awful washing machines by Hotpoint and Candy.
Samsung,LG and Miele are the best washing machines you can buy these days for sure.\
long warranty should always be a priority with any brand regardless.

your washing is done
your washing is done
your so dum to need this song
to tell you that your washing is done
the next time you do the washing sing that song, it fits perfectly
I read that along to the tune in my head.....and thanks....now I'll be singing that all day.

Completely silent, even the spin cycle is fairly quiet and can see a big difference in the clothes now.
Would definitely recommend the washing machine to people.
Code took of £60
Happy days
Thanks was on the hunt for a washer
Been keeping an eye on this for my new house soon. It's a great washing machine (landlord provided one last year!)
BTW when I rang them to check they said I had not registered, but were able to offer my an extra 3 years cover for £99 if I wanted it, sounds like a warranty scam to me
Its a decent washer and so easy to program. Leaves my clothes spotless and ive just washed a double quilt in it, i filled the soap powder drawer but the mattress still wasnt ultra white so you maybe need wash it twice in a row for big things like this.
i dont understand why this is getting so much heat!
almost 700!
I heard on a Ministry of Defence recruitment advert about fixing a Samsung radar system, and a recent hospital visit the scanner had Samsung written on it.
I am sure that we had a Friday pm - build before home - model "Drop" off the the production line.
We had based our choice on numerous "Good" reviews; Which? included.
The eco bubble -nah!.
hmm.. I think I'm getting it now!
Granted it's a bit more between 800 and 1600 but that's what a washing line or dryer is for.
You can feel the difference in your hands between 800 and 1400 spin...

Seems like a good deal OP, thanks. We are definitely considering it but have also been looking at Bosch machines too. Are they both decent brands and does anyone know what the aftercare is like?
I need to calculate the volumetric weight for a courier.
