I got this TV a few months ago and paid slightly more. I'm happy with it. Now TV app should be coming later this year.

Decided to pay £590 from John Lewis; thought that their customer service and complimentary 5 year guarantee was more than worth the extra £50 it costs.
Although OOS now, it might be worth holding off until it comes back into stock, if you're like me and value it too.

Anybody know how this compares to the KU6400 49" Version. Why do they make the model numbers so complicated. I guess the 6400 is better as it is a higher (number wise) model? Does the 6400 have a 10bit panel? Thanks in advance

Think the 6400 has Bluetooth and higher pqi, there's is probably other features but I got bored researching so think I'm going for the 6400, for £569. It'll be an improvement
on my 10 yr old 32" acer no matter what

Seems like there are a lot of good to deals at the moment! I'm holding on to my old chunky Toshiba 40 inch until I actually have devices/internet speed that will output at 4K...

I have the 55 inch version of this and was told by Samsung tech they are not HDR. Can't understand why they can get away with it

Needs to be marked hdr ultra premium I think for true hdr support. For which I think you need a 10 bit panel.

This is what Samsung tech said to me .

It does but it's the 7000 series that's full HDR. I was told premium tv . Also Argos website says it's a 10 bit panel and that's wrong also. Using this tv with Netflix HDR my tv is very blurry . Hope that helps

Bought thanks  although the reading the comments now in getting buyers remorse, 8bit instead of 10bit and upscaling to HDR? Have I bought a decent bit of kit or is this not as good as it should be?

To be honest, I doubt I personally will notice a difference; I am currently still using a 10 year old Samsung Plasma!

Yeah 8 bit panels are not as good as 10 bit and TVs with them are not certified as ultra HD premium.
I doubt the average joe could even tell the difference. Also there is very little HDR content around
