Top tip dads.
Every year I go to my large local sainsburys where at 5 mins before opening a large queue of people with trolleys are always waiting for the doors to open. Stand near the front without a trolley and your just a regular jo waiting to get a paper and teabags and are safe from heckling from people telling you to get to the back.
Soon as the doors open grab 2 baskets and peg to the toys and get what you need. Baskets also mean you can squeeze through all the trolleys and madness.
If your getting on a bit also like me and don't trust not getting up go the night before and hide the toys you want in a inconspicuous department like motor cleaning and put the toys behind other stuff. If you get to the shop late you have your stash to fall back on as likely they will still be there.
Looks by the OP image Buzz Duraband is included - i dont think he will sell very well - should put him in Freebies
Thanks for the heads up
edit: op image changed now so wont make too much sense !

They usually get some big branded toys in for half price, last year were some hot wheels sets, barbie and their own toy brand like rocking horses and trolleys with food. It's usually pretty good, depending on amazons prices. Most other brands are 33% off like my little pony, some lego and marvel toys. You can usually grab a bargain or two

now why would anyone know that? Sainsburys make sure you can only get the prices on the day. just so you know. ALL toys are in the sale. yes ALL. Usually Sainsburys own branded toys are 75% off.

Great for Thomas mini's blind bags as they were half price last year - find out the codes of the one's you want and look at the back of the pack. Also got lots of Thomas toys / Bing / In the night garden. I went for store opening and had the place to myself they thought I was bonkers!

That's ok it's not like to sodding what'sapp will send people here to read it. Especially as this has no proof yet. So a mod will move it to misc. then as soon as a helper finds a newspaper add they will start a new deal that then gets 1milliondegrees heat and too bad original poster.

Never have a problem finding bargains myself as I just look in inconspicuous departments like motoring stuff, dining, bedding etc (different place every year) and always find around a dozen half price booty items and sometimes a lot more. I do leave some things, but it is funny watching all the numpties trolley dashing to get bargains puffing and panting with their red faces and steam coming out of their ears because bloke 'A' got what blokette 'B' wanted.
Reminds me of that Schwarzenegger movie JATW.
Meanwhile, I just saunter up to the checkout with my bargains. LOL
I'd love to see the stasher's face one time when they see I have their bounty.
My guess is that it's a night-shift staff member, but I probably only get a fraction of the stash, but HoHoHo!
Luuuurve it every year and looking forward to it already!

This cannot be official as series 3 shopkins were discontinued a year and a half a go, not possible to find this instore due to licensing laws. Season 5, maybe but season 3 no longer exists anywhere. Season 4 there may be a couple left but season 3 impossible.

14 Oct 161#56
be aware sainsburys wack everything up to full rrp and then the discounts worked out , hubbys just saying they were looking last night some things are £25 pound now going back to £30 and then sale discounts are added . also keep eye on places like amazon , b&m as some items are already at a low price or will match
vicstar115
14 Oct 16#57
I'm pretty sure every toy is discounted to some degree. I know a few years back it was almost all half price, but they've pulled it back the last couple and some stuff only gets 25% discount. Pretty much guaranteed some savings on any toy they stock, so worth going just to check the prices. As for online i remember the banner last year definitely said it was instore only, so i highly doubt it will be on offer online. Again, sainsburys are rubbish to order from. If they substitute something they will charge you the amount it costs, even if it's more. No price matching like asda and tesco. That and their awful layout of a website is why i only shop instore with them haha. Really looking forward to seeing what peppa pig toys are discounted to this year, my 2 yr old has just developed a new found love for all things peppa!
missingno
14 Oct 16#58
Keep in mind this isn't a complete list, this is just the toys that'll be in promotional spaces, and the toys they're coming in especially for the sale - every toy Sainsbury's currently stocks will be reduced as well, between 20% and 50%, and they're not all listed here - all Lego will be included but probably on the lower end of the discount scale
eayragt
14 Oct 161#59
Er, that's what all companies do?
vippymini
14 Oct 16#60
probably most but theres some bits on the shelf currently at £25 , that show they are half price in the sale at £15
Anon1212
14 Oct 161#61
Toys are already being stocked in stores. But not at the discounted prices just yet. This will happen the night before. My source- I work there
Also, heads up, Argos and Sainsbury's have merged so potentially the toys SHOULD be the same price now at both stores. If you don't want to wait until the 19th, then head over to Argos and buy them now. I believe (I could be wrong) but most of the so called sale prices will actually be the price at Argos right now
julieallen
14 Oct 161#62
For a mod, shouldn't the OP know the prices should be added to the existing deal?
Argos would price match anyway providing its the same day and in stock at Sainsburys.

I'm pondering if HotUKDeals is gonna find itself in hot water legally by doing this. Given it's a mod/staffer posting it, they can't even claim "Well, a user did it, and we took it down as soon as we realised".
I can't imagine Sainsbury's would be too happy with this, but I have no idea if there is a law around this kind of thing.
Does anyone more versed in these matters want to chime in? Armchair lawyers need not apply.
sportyfae
15 Oct 16#77
is your post a joke? Sainsburys have decided to sell these things at the prices shown, maybe some good deals other not so good (Lego Vet thing just brings it down to Amazon price region), and are getting masses of free advertising via HUKD, what's not too like for them :smirk:
Ribs85
15 Oct 16#78
No. Was yours?
This information was leaked early before it was live. This has the potential to harm more profitable sales leading up to the event.
I highly doubt Sainsbury's see this in the positive light that you do. It wouldn't totally shock me if they just pull this entire promotion now, or at least the pieces that have been leaked. Although I concede it's unlikely.
I'm not saying you should care about that, but I was just asking if HotUKDeals could potentially be dragged through the courts if Sainsbury's decided to go that route, and how much it could hurt them. Maybe I'm asking the wrong audience.

vicstar115
15 Oct 161#87
They always do one before Christmas, however the toys usually go back up to full price during the event, so just depends on if you want to pay cash for cheaper toys now or wait and spend your points later. It's worth keeping hold of coupons too, last year I got £20 in double up just for doubling up, £10 in points if I spent £30 on toys and many more. I had about £70 in doubled points but got another £60 with all the vouchers they sent lol. I don't shop there much either
Fun sapping mission of the entire point HUKD exists: accomplished.

Thanks for the heads up
edit: op image changed now so wont make too much sense !

I can't imagine Sainsbury's would be too happy with this, but I have no idea if there is a law around this kind of thing.
Does anyone more versed in these matters want to chime in? Armchair lawyers need not apply.

Thanks
We are currently on season 6!!!
If the answer to both is "no" then I don't see how this is self promotion
