I wouldn't know which is better - just had to buy a bottle as a thank you for my neighbour.

this stuff p$ss on Smirnoff. Vladivar and if still have to drink it Glenns vodka. This vodka for me is now the bog standard. best vodka out there for the price. wait a few months maybe November time sainsburys sell this for £10 for a 70cl. stock up for the year.

Smirnoff=Turps compared to Russian Standard. No offence to you, but if you handed Smirnoff into me I'd smile politely of course and the wife would have something to hand into the school bottle tombola.

Too true , Smirnoff is properly awful . Was in Spoons the other day and they have Stoli , Skyy and Absolut at the same price as Smirnoff and people still chose Smirnoff.. The mind boggles .

Already bought 2 bottles of this. For the money it's an awesome vodka and definitely keep it in the freezer. The only Smirnoff I'd buy is blue label. Red is absolute rank, feel like I've been in a train wreck the next day after drinking that crap

Does one ethanol taste slightly less synthetic than another? Try a nice cognac you reprobates. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sometimes only vodka will do . Single malts and cognac for sipping . Btw anyone tried the Zacapa rum at Spoons .. 23 years old and £4.30 a shot or £5.50 a double .. Worth it ?

Great price, heat added as this is much better vodka and thanks for posting. Will pick up a couple of bottles tomorrow

Does this drop in % when the price drops?
I noticed that the green mark vodka does at sainsbury when it's on special offer.
For the above the zacapa is fantastic, please don't mix it. Even the missus drinks it straight

No. It's still 40%. Green Mark reduced to 38% a couple of years ago and Smirnoff went down to 37.5%.

Cheers for the zacapa recommendation.. Looks decent value for a 23 year old rum .. Will give it a blast next time I slum it in spoons.
