Right first things first. THIS IS A LOCAL DEAL ONLY.
About 150 rolls on clearance. All looked nice and green and healthy.
If Homebase Edinburgh is closer then I saw about 30 rolls in good condition for FREE.
Thats 180 rolls for £75 ! Enough for your own small football pitch.

Every B&Q that stocks turf sells last week's unsold stock of at heavily reduced prices when the new stuff comes in each week.
I regularly see it for 10p a roll in our local branches.

"Thats 180 rolls for £75 !"
Err no it's not, that £90 if each roll is only 50p.

Err no it's not. 150 rolls at 50p from B&Q, 30 rolls free from Homebase equals 180 rolls for £75;)

If you want a nice lawn buy it from the farm that grows it, usually £1 per roll with free delivery, cut in the morning and delivered in the afternoon, nothing like the dross thats sat outside a shop dying

There's a reason it's so cheap - as pointed out above.
It's the end of the previous week's turf delivery and it's been sitting out all week without being treated. It's reduced to clear for the next day's delivery. I've bought it before and it was a complete waste of time.

How do you know that? Have you checked all the other B&Q stores?
How can you tell? It's all rolled up.
People should check there local store. Perhaps they too will be selling off their old stuff at this price or even cheaper? I know our local store always knocks the price down significantly to clear old stock. Turf needs to be laid within 2-3 days of being cut for a decent lawn, so the shop has to offload it quite quickly. I'm sure our store has a fresh delivery every day, or if not, at least every other day.
So I'm voting this HOT, HOT, HOT!

It will be yellow and it will be dry
But get it down as quick as and get it wet
It will be like new in days
I did the cheap stuff around two years ago now and still going great

Just to add.... I did check the rolls, they were deep green and not the usual bald and yellowing ive seen before. The rubbish weather this week has kept them moist and fresh.

Don't be lazy, seed your lawn for best results! We use B&Q' own (Verve?) fast growing seed and, and I'm not joking, in 2 weeks you should have an actual lawn to walk on. AMAZING stuff!
Bought my turf from a local turf farm, supported the local business and got supina shade and wear which is the premier league of turf for 4.50 a square metre. If on a budget though this is a good deal.

surely its less work to throw some seed on the ground?
