I've posted this company before but it seems they have some different deals again now. There are some deals valid from now until the end of October, so likely to include half term so if you fancied hiring a Camper and driving to London from Ireland, Spain, Scotland or Italy then this may be up your street. Of course this is only one way so if you need to get back to where you started then you'll need to sort that out, perhaps useful for students or perhaps people that may have been heading to see family etc. The also have a random Florence to London for £1.

Just returned from Barcelona - £35.00 for a week. There was another camper car available in Barcelona.
The smaller Camper Car (Volkswagen Caddy) is manual but the larger vehicles (based on the Toyota Estima) are automatic.

It's basically a vw caddy 2014 1.6 diesel with a manual box as far as I can see on their website.
If it's a classic VW Camper probably not. If it's a new VW camper than probably yes.

Florence to London is gonna cost you. Italian Autostrada plus French tolls plus fuel plus ferry.
