If drivers had a little more patience instead of rushing around.
I've been cycling only a year, so far I've been spat at, windscreen washers out on, forced into a parked car (didn't hit it tho), cut up.
My buddy got hit off his and broke his collar bone and snapped his back - driver over took him and turned left so he went in to the side.
Admit I do see some cyclists that should know better but if drivers just had some patience we wouldn't have the accidents we hear about today.

If drivers read the highway code then there would be no need for lasers to indicate how far to stay away from a cyclist when overtaking.

If cyclists read the highway code they'd do the same when undertaking at junctions, they'd also signal to show their intent to change direction or speed and they would also ensure their bike was capable of riding on a road with rough surface and small holes in the tarmac rather than swerving all over the place.
What I am after thou is one with a bike shaped laser that projects infront, to warn pedestrians as they step into the road without looking

Surely the light on the ground isn't going to be brighter than car headlights.

I bought the equivalent from China for twice as much, had it for about 6 months and running for about 100 hrs including in the wet. Aesthetically does look cheap but from a functional perspective it works great with numerous flashing modes. The mount is robust and for a quid it's excellent value.
Crazy to think there's light going for 10x 20x more and this for a quid is completely adequate for the job.

I have this on my bike and it's brilliant!! batteries have done over 12 hours of cycling and still going strong. compared to more expensive makes, these are a great alternative.

That's good to know. Too often lights from places like poundland are complete ****. Often it's the mounts that let them down first. What's the mount like?

They project down onto the road. the
The thinking being that cars with give you space based on the lines rather than running alongside too close.
