This is seriously a real bargain, it was £20 originally & I waited until it was on offer for £10 & bought one for my girls, then after seeing what it contained I bought loads as presents, it's now dropped to £5 & I'm picking some more up as they went down so well. Think it really is the best Kid's magic set I've seen & decent quality too.

Ordered...received...in fairness it is probably worth a maximum of £5 :stuck_out_tongue:
Yeah, it really is a disappointment waiting to happen - the "Really Stunning" "Gold Edition" magic kit is a big box full of cheap moulded plastic objects and will probably be interesting for 20 minutes.
You'd be better getting a good quality single trick, like linking rings or tapered cards, if the kid is actually interested in magic. They'll get much more use out of them and be able to take them to school etc. You can get the Fantasma linking rings set with an instructional dvd for about £5 on amazon or ebay last time I looked, tapered cards all over ebay etc.

Imagine how impressive that big box will look wrapped under the tree, then picture the look of sheer disappointment being suppressed with a polite smile as the child realises it's another "magic set" full of plastic rubbish that will provide little or no joy to him/her.

Just bought one. Looks decent enough for 5 quid although not sure where the £20 comes from, my link was saying £11, 6 quid off.
