I've just built mine and it looks great - as others said you can't really see through the side panel which is a bit strange but doesn't bother me too much. One issue is that there is no fan control and the two 120mm fans are quite audible so they will need to be replaced. Any suggestions? I might replace the two fans with a single 120mm or 140mm PWM fan connected to the motherboard.

Thanks! After researching I've gone for the p400 (not s variant as it affects temp). Glad I did as nearly all reviews preferred it over s340 and cheaper too

The non razer model is normally about £50, so unless you want a dirty logo on your case and some underglow then I would just save the money

I have this exact case and its pointless even having the side panel as a window the tinting on it is so dark. I could only just make out the top of my heatsink that sits 1mm away from the panel and you definitely can't see the razer logo thats on the inside of the case.

The P400 and P400S as I said before, just google for prices, though from memory CCL were usually the best.

Pretty much any recent Intel i5 but you haven't really given us much to go on.

Which model of phanteks please and a link to the case you are referring to at a lower price to this S340?

The NZXT used to have what was considered decent build quality for the price. The Phanteks which has much better fittings, paint inside and out that doesn't scratch if you look at it and a window that is also scratch proof. The 'better' version also gets you sound deadening and a simple fan controller, still for less than the NZXT. Even the cable management is much improved.

It is a black box, literally, max is two 3.5" HDD and two SSD's - make sure the power cables are flat otherwise the SSDs won't sit in their mounts.
Also no removable slots, good if you want to install once and never touch it again.
Cheaper on Amazon delivered without the Razer logo.

NZXT Cases are great, have this one and had a h440 too. This one is almost as good.
I've bought these cases (admittedly without the Razer branded) for £40 previously though, so not the greatest price. But can highly recommend these cases, even at this price.

Used to be the best medium price case but the Phanteks P400S is a lot better in every respect including price, difference in build quality is huge.

Build quality of this case is great , only complaint is the screws that hold the sides on are crap

ohh I would have had this. Just got the white version other week, very nice case. Great little area for up to 2x SSDs, very easy to cable manage.
