still too expensive for me! £20 before i get this.. the tin and all the other stuff is worthless (in all senses of the word) - take it from me, as a blu ray steel book collector with dozens and dozens of them and the realisation there just a cheap way companies get us to part with extra cash when the original product is still over priced anyway... i wish id kept all the money and gone on another holiday with it.. done a few car boots recently and although it was better getting some cash for old stuff, it was painful thinking about what i had paid for it all just a year or two back. Opinions are like bum holes... everyone had one and most of them stink..

Buy a second hand PS4 over the new model because it doesn't have an audio port which only a tiny percentage of players will even have heard of, let alone use? Are you mad?!

As for the "no smoke without fire" part.. that's such a silly phrase. It's true, there's no smoke without fire. But there are rumours which have no substance, and the slim isn't even out yet so how are there so many accusations of overheating?

I already have two games I purchased this week. I'm on the lookout for Uncharted but not too bothered about the special edition. It's going to be an odd end of the week where I own three PS4 games and no PS4. Roll on the 10th of November...

Received mine this morning. Next day delivery for free - very fast! I see it's gone up to £34.99 now, so expired.

Is it really that big a deal though? Can't you just take the bitstream from your TV's optical S/PDIF output after it's been over HDMI? That's how I connect my gaming headset.

Cheers - just bought. Good timing as I finished my £3 Borderlands Pre-Sequel yesterday (60+ hours to finish story as I did pretty much all of the side quests, so fab value and still the most satisfying gunplay around).

Loved the previous 2 Uncharteds so looking forward to this..

No optical out was the main thing for me but that's probably not an issue for most folk.. For me it's a MAJOR issue! That aside there is a lot of talk about them over heating? I cannot confirm this with any 'experience' but there's no smoke without fire right? The slim is a good idea on paper but the reality at this stage of the game is just silly, one good thing for those who STILL haven't got a ps4 yet is that it will reduce the price of the original sized ps4 :smiley: You'd be better either waiting for the pro (which is the sanest route) or if you absolutely must have a ps4 now just get the original design preowned from from cex (2year warranty) ..if you've waited this long already wait till November and be happy that you did :smile:

Paid £49.99 (or thereabouts) on release day for this edition, still worth every penny at that, great game.

As far as I am aware. The cheapest copy (currently) for the standard edition of UC4 is £25.85 at Base. Well worth the extra £4 or so for the Collector's Edition (which is the lowest it's been after it's £34.85 price at Shopto)
