Tesco direct currently have the ps4 1tb console with lego star wars game and also the star wars film on blu ray, you also get no mans sky free.
currently reduced from £329 to £299 but if you add code TDX-HTNK until 25th September then it takes a further £25 off making it £274 cheapest I have seen this at the moment.
click on the ps4 console itself then it should show you the offer to add that and no mans sky to the basket.

I got the offer 1tb, extra controller and no mans sky. Other half works for tesco so with staff discount and vouchers it came to 278. Traded in no mans sky and got some other games.
Happy with that to be honest, as with downloads I have already taken up a qtr of the hard drive.

Err... nice contradiction there. This will no longer be the lead development platform, hence the redundancy declaration. For the difference in price you would have to be an imbecile to buy the outgoing PS4 hardware.
Feel free to take W_D_G's foolish advice and blow nearly £300 on 3 year old hardware, but don't moan when the downgraded compatible ports start rolling in.

With the ramp up for development houses to start utilising the pro, I doubt there is much risk here for 12-24 months. Sony have stated all titles must be compatible on the PS4 platform as well. That includes day one sets. Whilst I think that this is a £200 1tb console without the games/bluray I would personally wait a little longer. The slim is on shelves and the pro in 7 weeks. Christmas is approaching - these will drop

I think it's the PS Pro that's the redundant console - only marginally improved specs and a requirement for a 4K tv to see any benefit means that the original PS4 is likely to remain the default option for consumers. DVDs outsell Blurays by about 6 to 1 - the majority of people aren't that bothered by a simple increase in picture clarity.

My PS4 is sat under the boiler and last night it dumped about a litre of brown sludgy water directly onto the PS4.
I'm expecting it to be completely screwed..
Would this be a good idea to get, or would going sober for a while and waiting for a deal on the pro be better?

Although there's the new console out soon I think they're releasing a slimmer version of the old one too maybe? Surely this version will come down in price to make way for the new versions.

I don't think the C chassis will drop like some are hoping for, there's plenty of people like myself that would preffer the C to the Slim for the benifit of optical out. If anything, the remaining C stock could become reasonably sort after.

I'd suggest it will be the other way round! Developers and publishers primary focus is size of user install base, 40 millon units sold (and counting) will remain the lead target, especially when (according to reports) all games must remain compatible with the current model.

I would wait for the pro, it will do everything this will but als has ac wifi, which is one of my main gripes with my current ps4. I want to play via remote play but even with an asus 87u router in the same room i barely can manage 540 at normal frame rate.

Just bought one off an earlier offer. Playing many games that are ps4 exclusive and so not on Xbox one. Far from redundant as it will play all future ps4 titles. A good buy.Heat.
