Was going to post this earlier but completely forgot!
I saw Major Nelson's tweet and happened to be in town, so went in to my local CEX and grabbed a copy (or two!); had a great chat with them in there as they didn't know about it yet - they said it will likely be at least £15 in the morning.

Yeah my guess is £10 to start with. They normally double the price. If they still fly out quickly I would then expect increment increases of £12 then £15 if that sells well.

Well ordered it along with halo reach , of orcs and men and call of duty3 which is still £5. Just wish Microsoft would hurry up with blue dragon
The listing's been up since May - the price isn't a recent change. :wink: It's a new copy, which is why they're likely asking that much - though clearly (and unsurprisingly) it's not selling.
There's not yet been any announcement either way. Personally I expect that it'll arrive eventually.

I know for most it's cod4 but for me this had the best multiplayer experience of them all! Fantastic maps and weapons.

my fave weapon in any cod game, stg44 ruled this. sunk so many hours into it back then. search n destroy was the best too. wonder if this I'll feel the same firing it up or if it's the whole rose tinted glasses thing. time to find out

Same S&D but MP40 extended mag. Had a 2.49 K/D I think on PS3. Got to #403 score on leaderboards at one point :-) 2.5 million score in 16 days playing time.

I'm so annoyed at myself, I've managed to pick all the others up before they jumped in price £2 or 3 each. I guessed £7.50 isn't too bad as I did the CEX plan as soon as I heard (after checking eBay and seeing all the cheap ones disappear and replaced with £10-15 ones), I should have posted it on here damn! It's crazy how they will just ramp the price up, wish people weren't so greedy. It's so difficult to predict which will be the next game, I guess I should just buy all 360 games in the hopes they get BC'd

One of my all time favourite games this, it was so gritty, loved the bombed out MP levels such as Downfall and Roundhouse. I found Downfall really atmospheric with the German propaganda being blasted out on the loudspeakers. Co-Op was great fun too. I’m sure this was the first game I got 1000/1000 Gamerpoints out of until they done an update and it kept going up and up. I’m hoping this is what Battlefield 1 will be like, proper war, rifles and grenades, no fancy weapons, gadgets etc.
One of my fav tactics was leaving Bouncing Betties at the bottom and top of ladders such as the one in Asylum. Loved it so much got it on the 360 and PS3 so I could play with various mates depending on what day of the week it was!

Nope. The price tag is an offer to sell, you can't force any retailer to sell you anything, they can refuse to sell for any reason..

They only used servers for the matchmaking part, once you're in a game, it's all P2P. As for the 'hackyness', I think it's still ****... we'll see when my copy turns up I guess!

yep, when paypal sends you back to cex site, you have to confirm that you want to place the order, done the same myself first time i used paypal with them,
just got email saying mine has been dispatched, which is a relief i was expecting an email saying there was a problem with my order but i could reorder(at a higher price)
