Not really much between the 1070 and the 980Ti in terms of performance, pretty much the correct price vs performance. 1060 - 980Ti - 1070. Pay your pennies and make your choice.

Good deal, but this one doesn't include free delivery as some of the other 980ti that are on sale. if you bag on with free delivery this includes free Saturday/Sunday delivery. msi 980ti with free mouse & mat is my favourite deal.

I do agree, the MSI package when you factor in free deliver, mouse and mat is a cracking deal. Unfortunately, all people want to see is cheap.

PNY / Palit / KFA2 / Gainward etc are all 2 year warranties, hence the lower end of the budget, want more warranty, gotta pay for it.

I play Overwatch at 4K 60FPS with my 980ti, plenty of power in it, great price.
peekaboo92 to EngineerD
10 Sep 161#15
Not really an endorsement as overwatch is very easy to run. Also you'd typically want more fps in this scenario over 4k resolution.
Nate1492 to EngineerD
11 Sep 16#45
Overwatch is a superbly coded game that doesn't have a high requirement for 4k/60fps.
It does have a lot of power, but it's priced accordingly, the 1070 is a better card.

what about 1440p? :/
matt101101
10 Sep 16#11
I'd guess that the majority of people aren't fussed about 144fps in the majority of games. If you are, there's always the 1080 and Titan X(P) if you need noticeably more GPU power than a 989Ti can provide.

10 Sep 162#12
Yeh, of course. To be honest I use my 980ti at 4k for some games, looks amazing. But any first person shooter for example it's just miles better at 144hz. I still managed around 100fps on bf1 at 1080p so not too bad

They usually are, but it can be the case that a year will be knocked off the warranty for a clearance card. I bought a new MSI GTX 780 from OcUK last year that only came with two years, despite their standard being three, because it was being sold off cheap.

Its very exciting times in the console market right now, even the xbox one s is out, time to jump ship i thinks to all you pc gamers.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or just severely misinformed...
The 980Ti blows the PS4 Pro and the "Scorpio" Xbox One out of the water, never mind the PS4 Slim and Xbox One S, both of which have largely the same levels of performance as the original PS4 and Xbox One but with increased power efficiency.

The prices are so close, I would get a new one for around the £175 mark. Full warranty, probably free postage. eBay you are always taking a risk on used components. Is their house dusty or dirty? Do they overclock? At current prices, to buy used makes no sense.
Runs all my games lovely at 1440p, and manages to hit 60fps most of the time at high/max.. Bargain card

I have two in MSI 980ti gaming 6G in sli - plays most games at 60+ fps @ 4K. Other games usually sit at around 50fps. Better together than any 1080 alone. Best card in the market in my eyes (it's an opinion) Heat added!

Just read your replies, Trolling????????? I am most certainly am not. I really really do not understand this paying £300 for ONE piece of a machine when the PS4 slim gives you the WHOLE PACKAGE for £249 (case, ssd HDD, graphics card, power pack, motherboard, operating system, ram, cables, software, updates, blu ray player, and so much more) The ps4 graphics are absolutely amazing and life-like. I have never played a pc game for about 10 years because hated drivers needing to be updated, compatibility issues, freezing screens, overheating, huge boxes, tonnes of cables, no proper control pad, random crashes!! I get it as a works machine but gaming, seriously, the ps4 slim and/ or the xbox one s will just rock. Build a pc in that size for the money. Not a chance on this earth!!! That aint trolling, that's a fact!!!!!!!!

11 Sep 16#36
Well if your happy gaming at 30 FPS on most of the latest games, then hey why not, often a big title like witcher 3, fallout 4, peaks at 30fps and generally runs at 20 - 30, I have a ps4 and a couple of decent gaming computers, currently playing Dues ex mankind with everything set to very high average of 60fps on a ps4 30 FPS in non action scenes..... But you can't get Destiny on a PC, but if you could, I'd of flogged my ps4 ages ago

Make a pc that is the size of a ps4 slim for the money and you win, until then, you CANT compare a pc with a ps4, you just cannot as it cost 5 times as much but has the design and flair of a 1980 Skoda l! Seriously, frame rates, 30 is absolutely perfect, 4k is wasted on the human eye and thats case closed. The 1080 is huge, so you need a even BIGGER case, i still dont get it

If you want an extremely cut down PC that can play games designed for 7 years ago, on you go.
But don't forget that price is made up in the higher cost of games, controllers, and xbox/ps4 subscriptions.
