Well this deal still does not beat my Gigabyte 6gb for £230 off flubit using the free 15 day elite trial and using ebuyer to get a better price over.
Mine arrived 3 days after ordering and was very well packaged and has been running like a dream since i fitted it.Considering it's more than doubled my frame rates but did not cost double the price of my MSI gaming R9 280 which cost £150 from amazon 2 years im more than happy.
I would also stay clear of second rate manufacturers as there warranties can be terrible.I hope nobody has to return there palit cards back to there RMA base in hong kong as it's costly endeavor .

Im hoping they send me the 6gb version as I ordered it, still an OC version so its only about 6fps from the 6GB version on youtube benchmarks at 1080P. Dont know why they expired it as I edited it to show 3GB. I put it up again at correct description now.

6fps difference when the vram isnt being used up... it will tank when it does!

Yes it is- just checked and there's an expired thread for this. The product code matches the 3GB. Still, would be interesting to see what they send, if you could be bothered with the returns process.

WOW - that should be a deal in itself. What's the catch? They probably mean the 3GB version.

New games starting to come out 1060 is getting destroyed by RX480. It will be worse for this card further down the line.
destroyed? bit over the top mate, i would say doom on vulkan the 480 destroyed the 1060 but thats about it,
Deus ex isnt a massive difference it uses the same engine as hitman which showed it preferred amd so its to be expected

Don't forget that PhysX on AMD cards are calculated on the CPU making their cards more demanding on the rest of the system. The upshot of this is that if you're not lucky enough to be running on an i7 like they use in those benchmarks then the Nvidia card might turn the tables.
Here's an interesting benchmark both the 480 and the 1060 running this game. Things aren't as cut 'n' dry as those frame-rate benchmarks make it appear. LINK

That's rather grim, I'm quite optimistic and reckon 12 months.

Will the 1080 ever be sub £500 again?

Last time around Battlefield 4 was bundled with some AMD cards. It's possible it'll happen this time around also
