In Lidl near the wine section you can find now a stand with wine carrier cases. The deal is supposed to be for any 4 wines from a wine cellar. But if you buy any other 4 wines (even the cheapest ones) and have them in a carrier case, it is most likely you will get £4 off any way. I have tried 3 stores now and in one the cashier said to me that it should be only for the wines from the cellar, but when I said that I have been buying them like that in the other stores, he called a manager and the manager let the wines through with a £4 discount and I heard him saying to the cashier that if it scans through then they should sell them.
Maybe I'm just very lucky... give it a try and let us know in the comments!

got champagne for 3.99 in my local today, that was the ticket price not a 'hope i can con someone'

correct plus the wines in the boxes seem to all be the expensive ones now when before they put some cheaper bottles in there. my mother complained at the till and got the discount but I didn't even bother trying. worth noting the new Leicester store had the Austrian Shiraz fake yellow tail stuff on offer for £2.99

That's right and all the promo carriers have long gone from the stores near us. Good deal if you can find a store with the carriers left, but I wouldn't bust a gut to get to a store as there's a good chance you'll have a wasted trip.

I was in a Lidl and somebody in front of me had put in 4 random wines - he was NOT allowed the discount
I suggest best scenario is: you be young, pretty, wearing a short skirt, pouting sexily and probably the cashier is your boyfriend

At my local Lidl in Camberley, they refused a guy trying to buy four bottles from the general range. He got really upset about it and from the thunderous look on his face, I suspect that that's the last time he'll ever shop at Lidl! IMO, just for clarity, the offer should apply to ALL wines, not just the ones from one specific section.
