IMHO, ocado has the worst reputation among all supermarkets. It randomly cancels orders even blocks accounts. 2-3 years ago, I placed my first order when I have the voucher of £15 off £75 (or similar I can't recall exactly). To reach the minimum spend, I order quite a few different items and 3-4 carts of baby milk. Everything went fine until I realised my account was closed without notification and, of course, the order was undelivered. I called them up, and they told me that I ordered too many baby milk. Excuse me? They were not bothered to put any notice or restriction on the website, allowed me to order, but not willing to deliver? I asked if they can cancel my order instead, and leave my account open, which they refused for no reason. Well done to their first time customer! I don't want to open another account with a different email address; any sane people can understand the reason, can't they? Therefore, I've never touched them any more for the past few years, until this time. Congrats ocado, you turned me down again, and I promise I will not buy anything from you and will actively discourage anyone who want to shop from you. Rating of ocado: minus 1000 stars.

What is this trick about, please? You get all that stuff for free?

For the other people who bought a groupon voucher then couldn't use it, it's a nightmare to try and get a replacement voucher or a refund. They either don't understand the problem or understand it and pretend they don't understand it.

They will insist you wait 72 hours for the code to work, which it probably never will.

I persisted and eventually the guy on the chat got bored and offered a full refund which was processed immediately.

Looks like Ocado will be cancelling all orders made with the code, they have posted this on Twitter.

My order status in Ocado is now:

I think they know what is going on, and nobody will get their order. :disappointed: Oh well.

Didn't work for me as a new customer! Kicked me out a couple of times then when I finally got to the checkout wouldn't let me use either codes!

I have actually managed to go into the order and edit it and put stuff in that i actually wanted, and still it seems to have worked and kept the discount. I've checked out through paypal, so i will see what happens, if they honour it i will be very impressed.

Had an order for suspected mispriced Coke in. Used genuine 1st order code. Cancelled the order as OOS, yet it mysteriously came back in stock within minutes at the new price. Fair enough, but they refused to reinstate my 1st order discount code. Never used them since.

EDIT: resubmitted the code and it worked.

Don't forget the flash sales trick; add them all to your basket, press continue, go back and you add them all to your basket etc, repeat until no more offers left and then look at your basket and remove the ones you don't want.
