When someone calls it Henry Vacuum instead of Henry Hoover

Looking for one of these at the weekend, bought it somewhere else today as needed it as soon as possible. Can I just say the suction on it is great, my old one broke on Friday night after 13 years, it had an 1100 watt motor, this one suction is as good as if not better than my old one.

​Where did I make an insult about his intelligence? What makes me right is the facts. If you want a basic overview - check the EEC label rating for both units. This model of Henry comes out as a C grade (all Dysons are A grade).

The older numatics (amongst other brands) with the more powerful motors had such poor filtration that they couldn't even make the grade for E.

Cold, this is the post-EU feeble low power version....

My advice is hang back, once these get returned when buyers realise how poor the suction is, you'll get this half price on amazon warehouse in A1 condition next week

You suggested far more dirt passes through on the Henry than a Dyson - which even Dyson themselves don't claim.
Throwing insults about someone's intelligence does not make you correct.

I don't need to think about it - it's ​because commercial cleaners don't clean or filtrate to the same standard as domestic cleaners, hence they're built in such a way to require little maintenance to achieve this basic standard. Dyson have been coming with a 5 year warranty since 2001, so a pretty long time.

I've had mine for 15 years. Doesn't have a seat belt so goes freestyle at the back of the van. Brilliant on all surfaces,even on builders sites with loads of plaster and concrete debris. Use it on my carpet at home too. Amazing how ethical they are building something to last so long. You won't find many companies doing that nowadays.

​Well that comment in itself shows that you know absolutely zero about HEPA filtration. It's not a completely sealed unit, so very fine dirt can and does pass back out.

3 Dysons in 10 years when they each have a 5 year warranty? There's a reason Henry vac's are fine with brick dust and rubble - the filters are that porous they let all the finer dirt back into the air. Great if you're and allergy sufferer.

Henrys/numatics are bulletproof. I use mine for work and it gets its a** kicked, rubble, half bricks, it swallows the lot.
Had a dyson for 3 year, absolute piece of crap. 4 warranty calls required in that time until i ditched it. Dyson do have good customer service though, each time the parts were sent out with no questions asked. Just not worth the hassle. Changed to a meile for the house, what a beast, nearly tore the carpets up.

. All of these types of cleaning machines are vacuum cleaners.... Only the ones made by the Hoover company are Hoovers. So as the Henry ones are made by Numatic they are correctly called Henry vacuums. . . So unclench your fist and accept that people are right to call them that!

I have recently purchase the same one, the handle is not fixed and let's it get separated when hovering, not a nice product

These are great. Massive and very cheap bags. Loads of suction, long lead, quiet. Dont get hung up on the motor wattage - the newer lower wattage motors actually suck better than the older models.

I had to push them hard to get anything off them, and only got a £10 gift card. I was willing to return and re-order to save £10, they were going to make the sale at £85 anyway, and the vacuum has been delivered to the border area of NI so it would probably cost them £10 to go and pick up the return and £10 to re-deliver. I should have pushed for more!

Good price, you should also look out for the airobrush and buy that if its drops down its price!

These have a boost button, but I'm not sure how much extra suction that adds. It works perfectly fine in normal mode.

Brilliant, work really well and made in the UK and rock solid!

Average performance on carpet, every vacuuming session was a workout. Pretty good on hard floors though.

Not an adequate replacement for our old DC04 Dyson unfortunately.
