Whilst I wouldn't advocate watching via Kodi, I can't see any strong argument (except possibly collectibility) for buying this over watching it on Netflix. Unless you have a dismally slow connection or only have the lowest tier sub, it's going to look dramatically better on Netflix in up to 4K UHD vs a standard definition DVD. If it was a bluray at that price I'd say hot but these days DVD is very long in the tooth and beaten (for quality) via most broadcast and streaming services...

It's good but not great , easily forgettable. The first season must be the most rushed series ever, there were such monumental events which are not given the depth which they demanded e.g. Downing of the passenger jet. Watch Pablo Escobar: El Patrón del Mal it's in Spanish with English subs over 113 episodes and 80 episodes in the English subtitled version.

The Netflix series has been given the Hollywood treatment with the all white American hero and historical inaccuracies (blackie is quica brother and was known as Tyson for his similarities with the boxer) however Hollywood doesn't like having the screen full of black characters even if they are sicarios.

This truly bizarre. Everyone has a 1080p tv these days and Netflix is about 6 quid a month. It was shown there first in 1080p.
So why would you feed your 1080p tv a standard def 480p image from a 12 quid DVD?
Unless people still have crt TV's. These days DVD's seem so illogical. I could understand if they still made 480p tv's. But they are long gone as should be DVD's.

Amazing show! Although I'd rather wait for the whole series to finish to buy a boxset rather than buy a season on dvd. Cold deal imo

I watched the first 15 mins of the pilot and couldn't get into it. Nothing will ever come close to Breaking Bad for me.

Narcos is one of the best series i have ever seen.

I liked Pablo very much.....Although he is going a bit mad by the end of series 1...

2nd season is out on Netflix.

Narcos is the best TV drama I have seen in a while watched the series 3 times already I would like to see a 2nd season would be great!

Finished first season last night, very good series and good deal if no broadband

I didn't expect it to end so quick it's just to short. Have to say those of you that liked Narcos should consider watching 'Pablo Escobar: Patron del mal' really good Colombian soap it's quite long but VERY good and it shows how he started as well as alot that Narcos didn't even bother with.

Recommend this to everyone. Wagner Moura is superb. The show is a masterpiece.

This is the greatest series ever made, really realistic, cant make my mind up this or band of brothers. :smirk:

sign up a to a one month trial of Netflix for free, binge watch season 1 and 2 over the weekend
