These just seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper!
Not sure on the actual card , anyone got one of these.
3 years warranty - non reference design - hopefully silent when not gaming - free $$$ as per all gtx cards at the minute.
This is the OC version but just spotted delivery charge on this, where as the Asus Strix is free delivery - still this works out cheaper if the card is as good as the Strix.

The 'another 50 quid' comment was referring to 178.69+50=228.69.
Which is 31 pence away from the current price of the plus the 'another 50 quid'.
No one said you could find a 1060 for 220, that was entirely you.

i believe this is slightly faster than the strix but the strix is more silent (ex owner of strix)

There's on up on this site, think it's £229.99 though. I literally just scrolled past it (on iPhone app)
Bought this a few days ago from OC, Maplins will price match at £169.99, but email them.... I emailed, then rang to get a quicker answer, phone said no, i then ordered from OC, and an hour later maplins emailed back saying they will price match!!

First of all, 178.69+50= 228.69.
Secondly, 2 are currently listed on hotukdeals and 229 has been a standard price you can find 1060s at for over a month.

Yeap! Out slightly (my bad ) but I did put in post that I noticed delivery after (but had included that when saying £50 ) not really worth grief on a lovely Sunday in my opinion but we all live for different reasons .

It's a good deal.
I just would suggest the upgrade for 50, but some people don't have that extra bit.
This is a good card, good brand, second best MSI design... If you have exactly 180ish quid, get it!

It's a really tough choice between these three cards, imo.
1060 6gb, 1060 3gb, and 970 3.5+.5.
I kinda feel like the prices will continue down a bit, edging the 970 down to 150, the 1060 3gb to 175, and the 1060 6gb to 200...
The 480 will follow suit, but it's got a weird market issue that it has 3 cards that are in a virtual deadlock.
470 4gb, 470 8gb, 480 4gb, and 480 8gb are essentially within 5% of each other. Yet they are priced as unique price points.
So, you can almost discard everything but the 470 4/8 gb cards when considering. Until prices stabilize at least.

A lot of them don't, these days. Have a Sapphire brand RX 480 that do not spin up unless it hits 60c. Silent at idle.
I have a 970 that does the same (Zotac, I believe).

Ridiculous mate paid £1200 for two Matrix 780 Ti's just last summer.
Now look at the price of these which are equal if not better in certain games.
