do a master reset, buy a new case, plus put a different launcher on your G2 if you want a new phone... you will find yours is waaaay better than this phone, because the G2 is one of the best phones ever (as you know!)

Have you ever tried a different camera app, one that gives you more control over its settings.
My wife has this phone. The build quality is weak, but stick it in a Tudia case and it's as good as any other smartphone. The battery life is excellent and the camera is a 20mp Sony which takes better pictures than my compact.

I tend to agree. The bezel frame is prone to cracking and the paint on it is weak - had mine for just under 12 months and the paint by the USB port has chipped away and ive lost a miniscule part of the frame from wear and tear.
Whack it in a case.
At Low light it does suffer, and its focus struggles too in those conditions. Pictures arent super grainy but you know you're in low light and the LED flash tends to over expose (shutter closing at the wrong time, perhaps)

Better than the g4, but worse camera than the g4 plus. And 2gb ram, so depends on the version of g4 plus you compare it too.
It has got a great battery, and is better looking than the g4 too.

I picked up this phone a few months ago, it is quite a chunky **** to me, I never carry it around as my main phone (stick with my s5 and z3 compact).
However it is great as a media device with a very nice screen and very loud front speaker and rather good battery.

I live in Vietnam. The fixed internet is dire and very expensive so I do everything off 3G. when I come to the UK twice a year I use a 12GB/12 months 3 sim but I also need another sim for texts and voice. basically anyone on pay as you go who uses a lot of data will need a dual sim phone wherever they go as they will need one data onlybsim and one for voice and texts.

Motorola have never officially sold the dual SIM Moto X Play into the UK market, only the european (exluding the UK), asia and south american markets have had the dual sim as an option on this model.
If you're considering getting the Moto G4 Plus but want the compass and NFC, then this is a great alternative as it has compass, NFC and in some ways it's slightly better build and a slightly smaller chassis size even though both are the same screen size.
