Here's a question. I have XL on disc, and it installs the whole pack (DLC and game X separately). If I bought this, would it still count my DLC as installed without using the disc?

I don't know to be honest, but my experience with games released with DLC on the disc is it's tied to that particular sku so It may not work with the original release.
