I know this has been posted before but not recently, this is however the first time I have seen such a selection of different wonky items together in store, My local store had all these as an end of aisle display, and quality was really good
Carrots 1kg 35p
Parsnips 500g 52p,
Onions 1Kg 42p,
Savoy Cabbage 44p each
2.5kg Potatoes £1.12 (White & Red)
Also had bags of wonky baby potatoes but I didn't notice the price of them. No wonky fruit unfortunately thou

Would encourage everyone to buy "wonky" to prove to Morrisons that non-perfect veg will sell & they should stop rejecting so much of what farmers produce

Me too, I bought all wonky veg for tomorrows dinner, Carrots, Parsnips, Potatoes and Cabbage , all good quality and not really wonky at all, just varying sizes with a few blemishes here and there. Under £2.50 and dinner sorted ( apart from the meat ) I thought it was a good deal which is why I posted it.

I can - they're enormous! Way better value than the standard carrots, such a shame our Morrisons seems to run out of them so quickly too :disappointed:

Good old Brussels and the EU Power machine aboloshing 'wonky' veg years ago plus other laws forced upon us (pesticides, items not allowed to be sold in pounds and ounces). Another reason why I voted Leave.

Lol not sure if serious or trolling .
FYI The regulations dictating standards on appearance ,colour , size etc of fruit and veg got dropped by the EU in 2009 . Since then Its good wholesome British supermarkets like Tescos , Sainsburys ,Morrisons and Asda which have been upholding the standards by rejecting anything other than perfect class 1 fruit and veg .
As for pounds and ounces do you really think we are going to go back to those measures after we leave ?

It might be my local but every time I've bought wonky veg from there it always ends up being low quality and on its way out.
I couldn't use a single onion from the last bag :disappointed:

So Morrison wonky veg is now slightly more expensive than Lidl and Aldi's normal veg

Your maths isn't very good then. Here are the prices at Aldi, notice they are more expensive...

The carrots are allways bent and most of Morrison's fruit and veg are allways bad and poor quality so go to ASDA for better fruit and veg. all so Asda have green grapes and pineapples and apples at only 50p.

Never mind, you don't seem to have much luck with anything, do you, Only ever seen negative comments from you, unless it's on your own deals
