Got the Roadsterz bike a few months back when it was £20 on eBay. It worked fine for 4 months and now it won't go in reverse. Contacted Halfords and they offered a refund not a replacement so just decided to keep the busted one as the kids love it and at the time when I contacted them, I couldn't find another similar bike in that price range.

No stock of the £20 trike, even though the website says there is, they just phoned to cancel my reservation.

got phone call saying the only quad they had was display and broken

he'd already checked Seafield and they also only had display with missing bits

asked them to check dunfermline

whilst was on hold (for quite a while) as he phoned dunfermline they found additional stock in Straiton. dunfermline was also ex display and broken.

Just tried to order the quad but no stock in my local/anywhere local, they only had them in Workington and Caerphilly (I live in County Durham). Spoke to customer services via live chat and I was told they dont offer a store-to-store transfer of items. He also said the offer has now been suspended and they won't be getting anymore in stock. It's not available for home delivery either. Shame.... That would have been my little one sorted for Xmas

Just reserved one in charlton store, lady did call to say wasn't available but there was one available Near where she lives, and she wil pick the item up on her day off and bring it in on her next shift and call me to collect, must say I am impressed but I'm not celebrating just yet,

Like others I reserved mine as there was stock showing only to get a voicemail message this morning saying there was no stock, I then got a text message much later this afternoon to say my order was ready to collect, so I decided to call in at the store on my way home from work with not very high hopes and of course there was nothing to collect. Sadly this kind of confusion and incompetence is rife these days. Organisations don't seem to be able to keep reality in synch with their electronic systems.

I ordered 2 this morning from Cramlington & collected this afternoon the guy in the shop even carried them to my car :-)

I went to Halfords in Hull today and asked about all the above and also the go karts. They looked at me like I was crazy and said it's just Christmas stock that they're getting rid of and only a few stores will have. I pointed out that some items could be reserved online, but they just shrugged and said "we can't sell what we don't have".

Shame the website isn't kept updated.

Went into halfords in Huddersfield today and saw this advertised as £30. There was no stock there but was told there was some at dewsbury and Bradford. I reserved one of 5 available at dewsbury (and was told it was now £20) and went to collect an hour later. In that time the other 4 had also been reserved.

I went to Halfords Cribbs Causeway, nothing in stock apart from the Peppa Pig - but these were all reserved. Have been checking the Halford's website everyday, but they all now seem to have disappeared from it. For example, clicking the quad bike link above goes to a Halford's OOPS we can't find that page
