Looking for a bit of an all round family pc plus some reasonable gaming (cs go & minecraft for the kids) and came across this one. I couldn't come close to building a PC with this spec for the price so ordered one today.
Thought it might interest fellow hukd on a budget

Heat from me too - got a refurbished i3 system this week from them and it was pretty much brand new, not a mark anywhere. Excellent spec for price and nobody will be able to provide a reasonable comparison despite voting cold.

Was just about to post this and came across it, now £20 cheaper. How are other people getting on with their machines, is it worthwhile?

Just recently upgraded my GTX960 to a 1070.
The 960 is a great wee card and will play all modern games fine. Not on ultra 4k, but 1080 fine. I am obviously excluding poor ports like arkham knight which my 1070 even struggles with at points and it cost nearly the same as this whole PC just or the card.
Overwatch I ran on ultra 60fps constant. World of Warcraft I used to play on Ultra during Warlords of Draenor (more high now with Legion launching and the engine upgrading significantly) without dropping a frame while streaming to Twitch.
In conclusion, don't listen to the snobs, the GTX960 is a great GPU for a budget.
EDIT: before I get pounced on, I mean specifically for this deal. If I was building a budget gaming PC I wouldn't put in a 960, but I couldn't build one for £500
Been looking for a gaming PC for my girlfriend. She will only use it for Roller Coaster Tycoon World / Planet Coaster. I'm guessing this will be plenty and will take steam?

Looks like a decent deal potentially. It really depends how good the actual case, PSU, motherboard are.

So for over £100 more, and with some technical knowledge, you can get a better PC? Could you build the same PC for the money here?

Wouldn't call the 1060 a gtx960 replacement. It's more expensive at launch. More the upcoming 1050

My GTX970 doesn't run everything @ 1080 in high or ultra settings at 60fps+ so the 750ti certainly won't. Low-medium settings may return 60fps on older (pre 2015) games. The 970 has dropped in price, even the 980ti is close to a reasonable price now.

750ti will run everything out right now med-high at 1080p, obviously some high end games will have to be more med side, but Batman is just a product of poor development.

No, the GTX 960 was overpriced and a poor performer at launch. Now? Well it's been replaced by the GTX 1060/RX480.

I've had a couple of Medions - the last one is approx 7 years old and is past its prime - still running Vista (yes I know!) but these were pre the Lenovo takeover.
I had reason to call Customer Services because the on/off switch on the front panel had broken and a new part arrived from Germany about 3 days later. Full marks to them.
My point is that some of the nay sayers tell us that they could build it for £10 cheaper and so vote cold.
Not everyone wants, or is able, to build a PC no matter how simple it is.
I could retort with "why take your car to a garage to get it serviced when you can do it yourself?" !!
It's expired now so I can't vote HOT but would have done,
I'll be interested to read sometime what people's experience is of Medion Cust Service now that it's owned by Lenove.

seems overkill for light gaming!
I use a gtx 750ti and get 1080p 60fps on rainbow six siege, batman arkham city etc. I think you can find something more like £300 with a gtx 750ti in it on ebay. There was a post of a medion refurbished for £220 with those specs!

good question. i normally get nvidia to optimise them unless it puts the resolution down and then I put it up to 1080p. still looks gorgeous as my old set up was a ps3! and gtx 750ti better than a ps4! i just thought that mine craft ans cs go don't need this spec pc. if you looked hard enough could get two lower spec computers for this price

I couldn't build this any cheaper with parts. I've not even factored in the (admittedly, probably very cheap) case.

Good deal. The fact that it includes a genuine copy of Win10 make it a winner. Will absolutely crush the current consoles.

I hate how people like you just state no it wont, with nothing to back it up.
