Just what I needed. 3 for £40. Around 30 pounds off. I think it is a good price.

£15 per bag at screwfix - A great product. Have used this on board, concrete and underfloor heating, easy to mix and no "issues".

Don't forget to sign up as Trade (You don't have to be a builder) and get a monthly EMail with a further 10% off a twenty pounds or over spend!!! Have some heat OP as this is good stuff and expensive elsewhere.

good stuff but don't mix too much in humid conditions as it will go off

Weirdly need to get some adhesive...
How quick does this go off?

I assume this goes off extra fast so probably best suited to a tradesman and not amateurs
Amateurs should stick to the normal adhesive.

I did an entire bathroom last year, mixed enough for 6 large tiles at a time which was fine until we had a really hot day then it was useless around 35 minutes or so.
Just mix enough what you can use inside 35 mins and you'll be good
Used an elastocated ready mix for the floor tiles though

This is great adhesive. Amateurs should also use it, but just mix a bit less up at a time so it doesn't go off in the bucket. Not such a big deal

Ok for everyone, just mix a small amount 1st time then increase with confidence.
Just add a small amount of water if it becomes less pliable and mix in, should be good up to 70 mins if you work quick

Do not add more water to the mix when it starts to harden. This is a chemical reaction, adding more water won't just soften it, the mix will be spoiled and it won't set as well as it should do.

I really wouldn't advise using rapid set on walls if you're an amateur, it's a pain in the backside and offers no real advantage over standard set.
It will start skinning over after about 30 minutes, and you will have to throw anything left over after about 45 minutes (I wouldn't add water or mix a new batch in with it).

I agree, rapid set on walls is not really necessary. However, on floors it's ideal. You don't really want to wait for the whole day until you can walk on your floor, especially if it's a high traffic area like a kitchen or hallway.

it's about £11 or £12 a bag at screwfix when you buy two or more, just laid about 50sqm.

If you don't need a flexible adhesive you can't beat the price of this stuff. £6.24/bag.

I have some left over silcone sealant and planned to use to bodge a few tiles. Maybe I'll get a bag off this and use the silcone as adhesive for skirting boards (with screws)
