check you bank account as i tried to order said error but no money taken out of account , but if you check your accounts money is put on side for homebase to take and and they have 30 days to claim unless you ring them to sort it to release money back to account . my bank honoured this and refunded straight away but was also told they can still claim for up to 30 days

I won't as there was no order created, each time it said payment failed then went back to the basket. Haven't had a chance to ring them yet but will hold off till this afternoon when the card transactions should show properly if they have taken the money.

I really think they might have clicked on getting an influx of orders, then the payment systems going down and then stopping people adding to basket, then sending cancellation emails to people!
I'll be ringing them tomorrow as theres around £200 been taken from my available balance and not a single order placed. I won't mention what the orders were for as none actually went through but I do want to make sure they don't take the money then have to mess about getting a refund.

'This transaction was placed on Wednesday, 21 Sep 2016, authorisation number . Your card has been charged but if we cannot accept your order for any reasons we will provide a full refund to your card if we have debited your account in advance.'
