I don't like the physical buttons, which is against new Android design (os comes with in built home, options and back button) and TouchWiz. I was one of the early adopters of Galaxy S and S3. Moved on to sony after that.
Sony's latest tablet would cost me my 2 arms and a leg. :disappointed:

I would say! Probably only Sony's latest tablet would be an improvement, just out of interest whats wrong with Samsung tablets?

I'm finding it really hard to find a tablet which is on par with my 3 year old Xperia Z3 in terms of screen quality (> 290dpi) and speed (2GHz quadcore + 2GB ram), atleast 8 inches in size, has a 4G/LTE support and IS NOT a samsung.
My desire seems to be impossible.

I own this one, but wish I bought the Tab2 instead cos it has same specifications but better build quality. Really no difference in performance and the Tab 2 is only £45.

Could'nt comment as I haven't used one, you'd have to go by reviews and only one's I can find are basic buyer comments on Aliexpress
As great as Android is, does any android device not lag? It will always be a problem but I'd imagine after a while of having the tablet you'd stop noticing it.

OP .. "See my other post for 16gig versions at £89.99".
£30 for both double the ram and double the internal storage memory too, + 1" extra of viewable Tablet screen?, that's not too bad at all really ..... :-)

Haven't noticed any lag, but I don't use it to play complex games. I find it to be very responsive even with several apps running. But I'd don't use apps like Facebook.

I bought this from Argos and got a microsd as it's only 8 gig but when you move apps to the SD and restart the tablet all the icons disappear from the home screen it's annoying so I returned it got a spiral b2 32 gig for an extra tenner no issues

The 8' version comes with Android 6 out of the box, not sure about the 7' version though. The 8' is a great tablet for the price, really glad I bought one.
