Same as the Blue deal posted the other day but pretty much every Argos near me has stock of these ones!
The Lenovo TAB 2 A10 Tablet gives you an amazing movie experience, on the go. Enjoy your favourite films with the 10.1" wide HD display and Dolby® Digital Plus enhanced sound. The responsive quad-core processor, at a speed of 1.30GHz ensures smooth playback and 16GB of storage gives you plenty of room to store it. Add to this a 2MP front-facing camera and 5MP rear camera and you have an amazing package.
May be a mistake - but this quotes 2GB of RAM - the deal from the other day for the midnight blue one quoted 1GB RAM??
A10 vs A10-30 models - no idea what the difference is or if it's just a mistake by Argos.

Be careful not to let the battery deplete because mine couldn't even charge or switch back on so I had to send mine for repair :disappointed:

I have the A10-70 and it's excellent for the money. I got mine for the same price sometime ago from John Lewis and it's great VFM

If it was on Android 6 today I'd agree it is worth it. Even though it's a Qualcomm SOC, it's at the lower end of the spectrum but thankfully backed up by 2Gb of Ram. If you need 10” at this price point it's probably your best bet. If you can go smaller the nexus 7 2013 is way better.

Basically there are two models of the Lenovo tab 2 A10 tablet.
A10-30F - 1280x800 screen, 1GB RAM, 1.3GHz CPU
A10-70F - 1920x1200 screen, 2GB RAM, 1.5GHz CPU
It's the A10-70 model you want, it performs significantly better and has a higher quality screen. It doesn't help that some sellers give the wrong combination of specifications / model number. Generally prices are around £100-110 for the A10-30 and £170-180 for the A10-70F. I got a refurbished A10-70 from Argos for around £120, they're still available here : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lenovo-Tab-2-A10-10-Inch-LED-1-5GHz-16GB-2GB-WiFi-Android-4-4-Tablet-Blue-/361428435740

How has your experience with the A10-70 been so far? I've got a Nexus 7 2013 but fancy something a bit bigger mainly for watching videos and reading colour magazines, e-books, etc.

Actually to confuse people even more there is now three models with the same name Tab2 a10 and the one posted here is defo a 2GB ram version with the lower resolution screen.
I bought it a fortnight ago from Argos when it was on offer for £98.99 and it also has a Qualcom Snapdragon processor in it and Android 5.1.1 whereas the other two versions run on a mediatec processor and I think a slightly older Android version.
Even at £109.99 I would say its a good tablet for the price.

Yeah it's same res too.
Personally I'm not that bothered what OS it has because I'd install a custom rom anyway (providing they exist which they do seem to)
Maybe a Nexus 9 would be a better idea...

I'm pleased with it - it's running Android 5.0 Lollipop, I also have a 2013 N7 and it's easily as responsive. It has the brightest screen of any tablet I've used, I run it at close to minimum brightness. I use mine to show photos and general media consumption.

A10-70 just looks like a bigger Nexus 7 2013 to me. Wouldn't consider it an upgrade, just bigger. What OS is it still stuck on? Lower than the N7 2013 I'd bet.

The A10-70 is the better one but argos also list the A10-70 as just the A10 for £179.99 you have to match the specs up and it will make sense then!
However you've paid too much for the A10-70 is is regularly on offer for £130 ish

great tablet - I got one for just less than £100 last month, only drawback not approved android device as I found out when I went to watch/download purchased movies from Play store - but you can add a Micro SD card and load that with films  very happy with mine

Are you talking about the one I've posted or the blue one posted the other day?
I have to be honest, I ordered this one last night...

Lenovo Tab A10-30 10.1 Inch 16GB Tablet - Blue - £179
and then today saw this white one...I'm totally confused - I've googled it but can't work out what's what.
Tab 2
Tab 2 A10
Tab 2 A10-30
Tab2 A10-70
They all look basically the same, in the same colours and it doesn't help that Argos lists different specs.
I'm just trying to work out which is which etc LOL
Any pointer appreciated!
