Get real! It's £149.99. What are you expecting? An i7?

Yes, and the low resolution sucks. And it lacks a touch screen, and an SSD. Honestly, I would avoid this like the plague.

Doesn't say on eBay whether it has an hmdi port, so cold from me

I believe it does have HDMI.

It's a working Windows laptop, easily good enough for mail/web/office work, for only £150 - and you reckon that the unconfirmed possible lack of an hdmi port makes it cold? Seriously?
At this price it's a bargain and if it does have an hdmi port that's just a bonus. Maybe it wouldn't suit your needs if it didn't have one, but that doesn't make it a bad deal!

Has a HDMI port.
I got this on eBay A+ refurb for £130.
Got for my step son birthday who is gonna be 11. Set it all up yesterday so it's all ready and had a play around.
Wouldn't use it for myself as not quick enough for me. For him tho with YouTube, Minecraft and Roblox it will be perfect. Not bad for the price I paid.

We bought one of these a couple of months ago and the hinge connecting the screen to the body has become loose. Apparently it is a common fault with these.
It's a tidy little laptop and benefitted greatly from upgrading the HD to SSD.

Probably because it gets used as a yellow pages instead of a laptop.

If it has a celeron processor this means it can do 1 calculation for each celeron. This is a dual celeron so it can do 2 calculations at once. Obviously I am kidding. (it can do at least 3)

Can we have a flair on the homepage for posts that shows if they're used, refurb or misleading title?

Can you show us an alternative for £150 that does have all your higher specs?

It all depends on what you want to use it for. For browsing, email, Office and streaming television it should be fine.
It is clearly not for "gaming".
It's like phone test.... iphone 6 -v- Samsung Galaxy S6 -v- $50 Chinese phone with poor processor and RAM.
Go to a random website and see which phone loads quickest. Answer. All about the same. In my house the Chinese phone won. It is the internet speed more than anything else in activities that do not need much processing power (and may be reaction time in the test).
It's like using a Lamborghini on a school run. There is no real speed advantage.
For travel a 11.6" model is more portable (but the screen for me is too small for prolonged use).
