This is the full HD 1920 x 1200 model with 2gb ram. Similar price to the lower A10-30 model with the lower screen resolution and half the ram.
Well worth £129 for the screen size and display alone.
Great deal in my view.

£99? For this actual model? You sure it wasn't the lower one you bought, 10-30 model?

many thanks OP. John Lewis have confirmed price match. Having owned a few tablets over the years I'm of the opinion this tablet is great value for money. The battery life is insane. screen is vivid and you can add additional storage. Hard to fault

Android is an operating system and iPad is a tablet. Two different things. Saying that a smart child will get to grips with any tablet, be it an android based device or an iOS based device. I'd go with something reasonably cheap as it will be prone to getting damaged.

Millward84, if you did buy this tablet while it was in stock, and you are buying it for a child, I would really recommend this case for it.

Good tablet by the sound of it, but having bought a Surface without LTE I have now got an Android with LTE. Apple are way way too expensive, good resale value? Probably. But I resent absurd prices.

Had one of these for several months now...really pleased with it. Paired it with a keyboard case and a mouse so I can also use it as an rdp client to a full HD laptop...flawless. BTW paid £109 from John Lewis (originally paid £140 but they dropped the price a couple of weeks later and I got a rebate through their price matching) 2 years guarantee too. My Asus TF701t didn't make it through its first year and they couldn't fix it and stuffed me...never again...

I have both the A10-70 and the A10-30. They're completely different beasts. The A10-70 is fast, responsive and has a super sharp screen. The A10-30 is OK (my 7 year old loves it).
Paid £119 for the A10-70 as a refurb I think, I was certainly at that price. £129 for new is a good price for the performance!

The problem with the A10-30 is there are a few models with the same name but totally different spec, my one has 2gb ram and a Snapdragon processor but some only have 1gb and a Mediatec processor, Lenovo confusing people!!

It's funny on here sometimes. I posted the same deal 7 months ago for 139.99, I paid 129.99 and it was rated -37 cold. Now it's 420 hot. Very poor performance tablet. One broke very quickly and I got a replacement. I'm not keeping high hopes on it. My 7 yr doesn't like it even when it has more games. I guess you get what you pay.

lovely piece of kit for the money..... bought it earlier in week with the £30 off offer..... :man:

I bought this model a fee months ago from the Tesco deal and after updating it found the sound quality became very poor and as other people mentioned the wifi was flakey so I returned it.
Last week I bought the Argos A10-30 with the lower resolution screen for £98 but it has 2gb ram and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and not the Mediatek like in the Tesco version so fingers crossed it will be more likely to be updated past the current Android 5.1.1.
Also the live broadcasts on the iPlayer app works flawlessly on this model but was flakey on the 10-70

Got mine for £103 from Amazon on Prime day (with trial prime membership) after missing £99 deal in Argos. Definitely 2GB RAM version and never had problems with WiFi.
Even John Lewis did an offer of £110 for a brand new one with 2 years guarantee earlier this year, can't see why this is hot but do agree £129 is well worth it though.

Had mine for about six months replaced a Samsung tab 2 . The screen is great it is so much faster than the Samsung and the battery life is very good mine came with lollipop out of box. Never had WiFi issues never drops out. I don't understand any negatives with screen quality, I must be easily pleased or impressed with what I got for the money but then I'm not comparing it to an overpriced iPad, I have recommended to others.

I bought one via Tesco the other week for the same price after £20 off code (now expired). No wireless issues, out the box it was Lollipop and then 2 or 3 system updates straight away - seem to remember wireless fixes being mentioned so make sure you do all the available system updates before you think about returning. I doubt it will ever get past 5.1 but with Google disaggregation of apps from the releases then the advantages of v6 MM and v7 N get less. Great battery life and performance. screen is nice, mSD expansion. Great 10" android tablet if this is your preferred form factor.

got it for this price a week ago with a 20 off code, took it back due to a well known wireless problem, shame as screen/sound/speed all good, but could not live with it dropping out all the time, worth a go at this price, you can always return as I did (the chap at Tesco said he had 3 returned that day!)
