Saw the deal for the below Lenovo laptop posted and by chance happened upon a lower priced sister model. The only real difference I can see is between the SSD and HDD. So if you want more storage but slower disk read/write speeds this may be the preferable option.
I've just bought this one with hybrid disk (8GB SSD and 500GB HDD) for £220 (open box deal and £20 off applying Which code) @ Laptops Direct (Debenhams is actually the LD, you can also get this on credit, 0% for 4 months when paying by PayPal credit) and I think it's the best of both worlds. Starts up in 5 seconds and still has a load of space for music, movies and pics. Only downsize is really cheapish build of keyboard and casing.

Mine had pressure marks on the screen, have to get a refund as no more in stock, and apparently they dont know when they are getting more.
I'm not very good with specs and such like on laptops...bit of tecnhophobe on these things...however I'm starting Uni and going to need one for assignments etc... Would this be a good choice to go for? I would appreciate advice. Thank you x
