Can't say cold at 10p, however, mixed reviews with plenty of 1 star doesn't work comments and complaints of zero support. Last update almost 2 years ago. In app purchases.
Looks like an abandoned product with significant risk of hassle/failure trying to use it.

Why is this hot? It's an out of date app with 0 support and you're probably better off doing time lapse vids on something more powerful than your mobile - like a PC. The admission price is low but only if you value your time at 0.

To open a DOS Box (command window) in a specific folder location, right-mouse-click in that Windows folder while holding the shift key, then gives you menu option to "Open Command Window Here". Your pwd location in the DOS Box is then that folder directory.

Prob worth the 10p. Just bought it.
But my method is free and better IMO if you have existing video files:
To timelapse ANY film from your PC do the following:
1. Download ffmpeg and install
This is set at TimeLapse 1/50th (0.02) (i.e 1 frame every 50 or 1/0.02. Simply change this "setpts" value eg: for 1 frame every 10 = 1/10 = 0.1 so "setpts=0.1*PTS" etc...
Have made some amazing 1080p timelapses from this method.

My son was 3 when he watched Wallace and Gromit. He asked how Wallace was able to fly and didn't understand it was fictional. Got some play doh, 1 hour later we had created a simple animation, so he was able to understand that cartoons are fictional, and a memorable moment to top it off. Well worth it. Now he's 5 I will get him to come up with a script beforehand. So many learning opportunities. Buy it!

I've been using this app for over 2 years and have had no problems with it on a Samsung Galaxy S3 and S5. It does a great job and - as others have said before me - it doesn't NEED to be updated as it just works, and works very nicely!

The Microsoft hyper lapse one has almost no settings and sticks Microsoft logo at end, and the time lapse recording app is full of ads, offering to download his other app, links to buy pro etc and less settings than this deal. Uninstalled both. This deal still looks the best in this field, hence a bargain and high ratings despite no recent updates.

Via the app description. this one has stop motion animation. Although with the app title I doubt it's a focus of the app. Most of the alternatives mentioned here so far don't have stop motion as a feature in the app description.
Also it's not such a bad thing that the app has not been updated since 2014. If it was working fine and people liked it no real need to upgrade I guess.
