Great Sound – The KitSound Tilt doesn’t just play your music, it blasts it. With its striking grill and punchy passive radiator, your music will take centre-stage as the Tilt delivers sound that can be cranked up to the max.
Simple Connectivity – Using NFC one-touch pairing, you can get the party going in a matter of moments. There’s also traditional Bluetooth capabilities to ensure ultimate compatibility across Apple, Android and Windows smartphones and tablets.
Call-Handling – With its built-in microphone, the Tilt doesn’t get in the way of you taking calls. When receiving an incoming call, your music will automatically pause, meaning answering and hanging up is done by simply touching the button on the top of the speaker or using your phone’s controls.

How does this compare to the kitsound boombar?

Well battery wise this offers up to six hours before you need to recharge, boombar kicks that well into touch with 20 hours, ok for £15 though, but my BB wins for me simply due to almost a whole day of use before a recharge, and of course the BB sound is no slouch either.

Was thinking this wold be perfect for Chromecast Audio...but one of the reviews said that in order for the 3.5mm input to register, the KitSound needs to be on when you plug in the 3.5mm cable. In a multiroom set up where I want these relatively tucked away, that doesn't sound too good does it? Was hoping they'd go into standby when not in use as well, ready for action when an input is detected. Anyone any thoughts on this?

Does anyone know if it's possible to skip forward a track on this? I can't see it mentioned and doesn't look like it has track control buttons to me, anyone know for sure?

Oh right. Well I have speakers that cost less than £20 that don't require them to be already on to receive a 3.5mm input. So, yeah, "JESUS!!!" comments not really necessary I think. But each to their own I suppose.
This is the best budget bt speaker I've found, all of my mates have bought on my recommendation and love them. 12w total I believe, really good sound.

Mine arrived today and the plastic casing is cracked and bashed to bits. Could have easily cut myself opening it. Next to no protective packing at all.

I bought the BoomBar based on a few comments on here.
I then sent the BoomBar back as it was absolutely diabolical.
