Why buy an 80GB stick when you can have TEN little fellas (or ladies) dotted around the place.. play the game of "which stick is the movie on". Fortuitously they look the same so there's no way of telling!
Personally I was waiting for these to be 19.98 however this will do.

I'm old school, to me USB2 is like Vinyl, classic and I don't care about the speed

Alcohol and HotUkDeals shouldn't mix, you'll end up buying all sorts. It's Thursday!

Bit of credit to the other poster would have been good

It's a shame the same 16GB x 10 Deal on MyMemory's own Web Site doesn't come in Aqua/Blue too mind, as that would have been a perfect combination (or is there an Aqua, and I'm failing to see it on there or something?), lol. :-)

Considering that you can get a 10 pack of USB 3.0 16Gb sticks for a fiver more, this seems expensive in comparison.

what if you only have £19.99? you might have to sell your body for the extra storage, that doesn't seem right somehow.

what if you are not bothered about the speed? They are only 8gb and if they are to be used as a "disposable" item or a giveaway price is more important?

It might not be right but I'm sure that as the postman delivers, any regret would soon evaporate.
The metal body, extra durability and double storage alone should be better. This would be my choice.

80Gb storage v 160Gb for £5 more, even if the speed doesn't bother you, it's a better deal.

What if you need 10 sticks for separate purposes, or to give away to 10 different people?
How are you going to divide a single 128Gb stick into 10? With a saw?

could always set them up as RAID

I bought these - thanks for the link - I got them from their store though as the VUB5 code knocked it down to £23.74 - plus I went via TCB which *may* give 4.1% cashback - we'll see. Anyway, for £2.37 each they are superb. Thanks again. I don't care about USB 3.0 speed.

Are these bootable. Can anyone confirm. Thanks

any usb flash drive can be bootable... its the way you prepare them that matters
Glad it helped. I don't care about USB 3.0 for lower-capacity drives and want small-ish sticks for giving to people or for boot drives, this (and the original 8GB deal that highlighted it) is perfect.

And you might be quids in to the bargain too.
10 x 8Gb x USB 2 for 20
10 x 16Gb x USB 3 for 25
Should be a no brainer really.
