I just want to honestly say I am sorry for anybody who missed out on this, I have literally been trying all day since this morning and been refreshing every website known to man so I know how it feels to miss out.
It was pure luck that I decided to refresh tesco for the last hour non stop with f5 and managed to get one a few mins ago, literally that is how low I have stooped to get one but a ps4 for this price as a christmas present I cannot turn down, no sane person would.
I hope you guys/girls have some more luck and finally get your hands on one, I mean that sincerely.

Only real difference is that it uses less power, has no optical output (should you need it) and its smaller than the original. I believe the controller is slightly different in that it has a small led strip above the touch pad.

I'd say if you're really adamant about getting a PS4 then sure, either be frequenting the sites/stores to get the deal. If like me you're looking to potentially pick up a 2nd PS4 with the intention of selling it on/giving to a family member, better to be relaxed about it and fortue enough if you can get a deal.
I did the wild goose chase in for the Wii U last year with Tesco. Unless you're on it its often a waste of time.

They've been in and out of stock since last night, they would be smart to sell the older versions first, even still do they even sell the original version, I would of thought every console would have been the 'C' Chassis.

I reserved one with smiths last night, was told at 8:43 it was ready for collection and I had 2 days to collect then told at 9 the Ps4 was out of stock but fifa was reserved for me, got another email at 1 to say I hadn't collected in time and the order had been put back on the shelves.

Exactly the same thing happened to me - I placed a collection order and opted to register for an account at the end of the purchase - this appeared to have failed as I couldnt log in. So I created an account manually and my order status showed being "unshipped". I then received an order confirmation.
Meanwhile, my friend (who opted to have the PS4 delivered rather than collecting it but placed the order at exactly the same time as me) received an email minutes later confirming his order had been despatched and even received his Now TV code!
I contacted their live chat, who very abruptly told me the order was "pending payment". I asked if there was a problem and he just that the payment was still being processed. No more information. My order is still showing as "unshipped" 5 hours later.

I just want to honestly say I am sorry for anybody who missed out on this, I have literally been trying all day since this morning and been refreshing every website known to man so I know how it feels to miss out.
It was pure luck that I decided to refresh tesco for the last hour non stop with f5 and managed to get one a few mins ago, literally that is how low I have stooped to get one but a ps4 for this price as a christmas present I cannot turn down, no sane person would.

Just nuts how cheap the xbox one and ps4 are now. Bit of a failure they have become this cheap this quickly. Will be interesting to see how the next gen consoles fare, if they are ever released. I think for casual gamers especially, mobile device gaming is killing them off and anyone into serious gaming uses PCs. i bought an xbox one on day 1, paid £400. Not used it for a year, use mostly my tablet or phone and occasionally my pc instead. Also have a new employee only xbox one which remains in its sealed box.

I got the 1TB with FIFA17 and Ratchet & Clank and and extra controller for £179 (from Argos online on 29th just after midnight).
Looks like you paid separately for your 2 items - i.e. the till didn't pick up on the offer of a free game with the console - probably because they weren't the exact 2 items for the offer (i.e. wrong version of console).

I spoke to the online chat and their response was: . I believe this to be as a result of the game and console coming from 2 different warehouses which use slightly different statuses at different stages of processing and fulfilment if you like. This isn't anything to worry about.
told me that should be delivered per original selected date, unless you've had an email saying otherwise.

It's ok. I ended up ordering from game but I'm now waiting till Monday for delivery. I was in Tesco yesterday with a 149 ps4 and a copy of fifa, but it added 38 to the total. I considered just getting the ps4 and returning but had a feeling I'd end up in your situation! Good luck though. Tesco really should sort it so they honour any Tesco online deals, unless the online offer states online only!

Tesco order people do not worry.
I ordered first night and console stayed on confirmed for ages. Wasn't until 3am this morning it was sent but it still got to the store as promised today so yours should be fine too if no movement for a while.
Just be thankful you get Fifa to store too as ours had to go to home so now I have a PS4 set up with no games. :disappointed:
Amazon order should arrive tmw but tempted to buy a copy if they still have them when I go to the shops in a bit.

Are you getting fifa posted? If so tell them to send you a free post label to return it. If not they have basically defrauded you. You can whinge until they accommodate you. You agreed to fifa being free as part of a bundle. They can't just send you part of that order and charge a different amount. That is using your banking details to facilitate a transaction you did not agree to.

Then you should technically have them by the short and curlies. If they dispatch part of the order that contracts them to honor the full order. Not sure how it works if they literally haven't got the stock but you may end up getting a slim. Do some.research and chat with their customer service. Make sure.you sound like you know what you're talking about. Worth a go if you can be bothered and really want the ps4 bad.
I think GAME will be harder to wear down but what happened with Microsoft was they offered a halo bundle for 60 quid which included halo 5, chief collection and controller. Which is ridiculous as that should have been 100+! They dispatched halo 5 and nothing else and everyone went bananas. Most of ended up with all 3 items and anywhere between 20 and 50 quid compensation. Some people even got brand new just released games instead of chief collection.

Just rang CS regarding my Partially Confirmed status, she said thats normal, something about them using 2 different couriers for the 2 different items ordered (Yodel for the console, RM for the game). She actually said the console was further along the order process than the game was, console has been 'confirmed', FIFA has a 2-5 day dispatch now - quietly confident here now. I thought it was a bit of a long shot for those of us that sneaked an order in today.

Went into local (Hastings) store last night and she checked the system for next delivery, their system was coming up as the item was being discontinued.
You should have been here midnight last night. LIterally at midnight, Tesco's, Amazon, Argos, and John Lewis all simultatenously put their stock up.

Yep I ordered a 1tb Star wars PS4 bundle for my brother just after deal went live and then arrived at store on friday just like it said it would. I also ordered the 500gb Star Wars bundle around the same time and it has said confirmed since ordering and failed to turn up at the store on friday like it said it would. I rang tesco helpline just before they closed on thursday night and they said their internal system showed the item had been packed by the warehouse, however I got a text on the friday morning saying it would now come on the Saturday. I spoke to someone on the tesco online chat friday evening and they said it is showing that the item has been loaded up for delivery. So hopefully it comes to the store today however i have yet to get a dispatch email to say it's been sent. I just hope I actually get one as when I went in the store today to pick up my brother's 1tb ps4 the lady said they had not been sent any stock so can't even buy one from the store.

Your console even if going to local store is sent with Yodel. The games are sent with Yodel. Your status will keep saying partially.... This is normal.
The consoles comes in a larger brown box.
You will get emails and text messages.
I have been very happy with Tesco's approach and I was one of those that managed to get UC4 and Ratchet with the FIFA 500Gb bundle.

Got the same this morning dispatched at 8:30am but look on your order page for the parcel number where it says "Parcel details for Parcel 1:" starting with 8W8 copy it and then put it in here http://www.yodel.co.uk/track/, you will probably find that it was actually dispatched last night when you read the parcel history.
It means must be on its way to store. See couple of post above and below yours, apparently you can track your PS4 on yodel website.

Yes, the ordering was split in two. You had to choose separate delivery options, for games it automatically used your address on account or possibly last/default previously used. I would have preferred my games going to store rather than home delivery but as I was rushing to get the order in I didn't think about it.
Looks like you're going to have to write the game off unless you have a way of contacting the current residents.

When is your order due for delivery? I just got off the phone and apparently it's because my estimated delivery is on Tuesday.
Contrary, to my previous post the games are being sent by Yodel too. Would have preferred Royal Mail as I could've popped down to collection point if I missed them.

Still expecting that call back from the 'manager' they said it may take up to 48hrs.
As of now minus the £149 deal, this has got to be the best deal out there, I'm confident we could negotiate money off given the circumstance. I'm hoping to get at least another £20 off. I'm not buying it until I can get it close to £200.

I ordered the bundle with R&C, UC4 and Fifa on 29/9/16 at 00:41. Home delivery of the games, console to my local store (it wouldn't let me apply either option to all items). Got a dispatch email for the games on 30/9/16. Haven't received them and nothing about the console. Then this morning I get 3 emails (one for each game) stating "as requested, we have processed the return of your item". I didn't request that! Does this mean the games were never in transit and my order is cancelled? Anyone else had this?

However, looking at the tracking info suggests the game hasn't gone anywhere. I collected the PS4 on Friday. Hopefully I can get them to refund me the £42 for the game as I was going to sell it anyway!

It's just like they are trying to ignore the matter! I've emailed them a couple of times now and had no reply, the customer service is shocking. Pretty sure they sealed a contract between the customer by saying the product has been dispatched, so there should be a bit of negotiation on this.

I called earlier today and was told I was put on the 'urgent list' and would get a call back within the hour, waited that long and got nothing, no messages when I got home and the guy I spoke to clearly said they centre closes at 10pm I even remember checking with him as it seemed a little late.
I've also emailed Martyn Gibbs just now, hoping to get a response by tomorrow or this week if I'm lucky.
If you notice the terms and conditions look to have been changed since this happened, on the last line it quotes.
"Although We endeavour to give accurate stock availability information on the Site occasionally products you order may not be available. If this happens We will cancel your order, send you an email to confirm the cancellation and any sum debited by Us from your debit/credit card will be refunded in full to the same card."
It so conveniently relates to the issue we're having and is pretty obvious they did what they could to protect themselves from the storm coming their way. Anyway I appreciate the advice wredmondo.

The terms stating they will cancel the order is absolutely fine. It's happens everyday on here however all companies have to adhere to the formation of contract. Each company states the formation is complete at different stages.
Game state it's complete when the dispatch email is sent. So legally they can cancel at any point until they send this email at which point it's enforceable by law.
Did anyone receive digital code from tesco or disk ? i got both :smiley: Does it mean i got 2 fifa 17 games.. any guide??

I'd say if you're really adamant about getting a PS4 then sure, either be frequenting the sites/stores to get the deal. If like me you're looking to potentially pick up a 2nd PS4 with the intention of selling it on/giving to a family member, better to be relaxed about it and fortue enough if you can get a deal.
I did the wild goose chase in for the Wii U last year with Tesco. Unless you're on it its often a waste of time.

Meanwhile, my friend (who opted to have the PS4 delivered rather than collecting it but placed the order at exactly the same time as me) received an email minutes later confirming his order had been despatched and even received his Now TV code!
I contacted their live chat, who very abruptly told me the order was "pending payment". I asked if there was a problem and he just that the payment was still being processed. No more information. My order is still showing as "unshipped" 5 hours later.

I think GAME will be harder to wear down but what happened with Microsoft was they offered a halo bundle for 60 quid which included halo 5, chief collection and controller. Which is ridiculous as that should have been 100+! They dispatched halo 5 and nothing else and everyone went bananas. Most of ended up with all 3 items and anywhere between 20 and 50 quid compensation. Some people even got brand new just released games instead of chief collection.

Just rang CS regarding my Partially Confirmed status, she said thats normal, something about them using 2 different couriers for the 2 different items ordered (Yodel for the console, RM for the game). She actually said the console was further along the order process than the game was, console has been 'confirmed', FIFA has a 2-5 day dispatch now - quietly confident here now. I thought it was a bit of a long shot for those of us that sneaked an order in today.

For a few hours at least there were stock everywhere, just a case of which one do you buy from.

Your console even if going to local store is sent with Yodel. The games are sent with Yodel. Your status will keep saying partially.... This is normal.
The consoles comes in a larger brown box.
You will get emails and text messages.
I have been very happy with Tesco's approach and I was one of those that managed to get UC4 and Ratchet with the FIFA 500Gb bundle.

Order uncharted 4 new from eBay for £15 just going to pick up the last of us went for it on UK PSN store (USA cheaper though) £11.99
So £125 for PS4 with Uncharted and Last of Us :smiley:

I sold fifa and the controller for £70 (better than listing on ebay with higher price because of fees), was feeling happy but now I wish I was sent a slim :disappointed:

Yes, ive been on and off on the phone with them this morning. they've tried muliple times to get my order. but they was no luck, totally out of stock. they had to issue a refund :/
best bet would be to ring them and inquire.

As of now minus the £149 deal, this has got to be the best deal out there, I'm confident we could negotiate money off given the circumstance. I'm hoping to get at least another £20 off. I'm not buying it until I can get it close to £200.

In an unexpected plot twist, all the games were delivered to my house today! Caught a yodel delivery man trying to shove the giant box through my letterbox. He could've tried, you know, ringing the door bell?! Classic yodel.
I don't know what's happening about the console though. I've had no further emails.
Just adding insult to injury, they seem to be playing the victim card as if we did something wrong.
I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what we can work out, this could yet again work in our favour though.
The nice guy in me is trying real hard to stay sensible about the situation, I'll keep you posted
I've also emailed Martyn Gibbs just now, hoping to get a response by tomorrow or this week if I'm lucky.
If you notice the terms and conditions look to have been changed since this happened, on the last line it quotes.
"Although We endeavour to give accurate stock availability information on the Site occasionally products you order may not be available. If this happens We will cancel your order, send you an email to confirm the cancellation and any sum debited by Us from your debit/credit card will be refunded in full to the same card."
It so conveniently relates to the issue we're having and is pretty obvious they did what they could to protect themselves from the storm coming their way. Anyway I appreciate the advice wredmondo.

Game state it's complete when the dispatch email is sent. So legally they can cancel at any point until they send this email at which point it's enforceable by law.
