Genuinely, one of the few games I actually enjoyed on PS4.

This is one of the games that will be getting a patch to take advantage of the PS4 Pro also.

For HDR? Aren't the standard ps4s getting HDR support also?

It's Infamous: First Light that was getting the Pro patch, not heard anything about this game.

I think it might be IGN were I read it. But both games will be getting patch. Both will still be 30FPS but both will be getting a 4K patch.

Got this the other day, still think second sun will be the free plus game the month the pro is released to show off the hdr capability.

Really boring game. Think I paid £60 for the digital copy on launch and was really put off by the literal shopping list of tasks it gives you for each area you are in. I absolutely loved inFamous 1 but this game did nothing for me.
It's an impressive looking game and I wouldn't have so much buyers remorse if I'd paid £6.50 for it.

I played it through to the end and I thought it was pretty good - very much a visual upgrade of inFAMOUS 1, imho.

The bundle with first light is also available to PS+ for £10.49.

Would this or the bundle be worth it for someone who has never played any of the other infamous games, and also has quite a large backlog to get thorough already? I'm currently playing and really enjoying just cause 3, does it play anything like that? I also quite enjoyed prototype a long time ago, is it similar to that?

I never played any Infamous games before playing first light which was free on ps+.
Really enjoyed it and went on to buy second son. Wasn't dissatisfied.
Go for the bundle if you didn't get first light for free when it was on ps+

Prototype! Loved that game. Yeah, Prototype and inFamous always go together in my head. I remember a reviewer saving that inFamous was the "better" game, but Prototype was more fun. I concur.
Anyway! If you have a PS3, you might fancy the original collection for £7.99 (with PS+), including inFamous, inFamous 2, and inFamous 2: Festival of Blood.
If IGN are to be believed (i know, i know), those patches may come with a cost attached to them. Hilarious. Was wondering how long it would take publishers and devs to start charging for patches.
Just see it now:
Joe Bloggs: "I'm not paying £5 for an f'n patch"
More cash than brains guy: "No one is forcing you to buy it you entitled spoilt brat"
Joe Bloggs: "But this is patches we're on about here, not dlc/fluff"
MCTBG: "Devs still need to make money too, kid. They can't work for free, kid"
Joe Bloggs: "Yeah, that's why i paid £40 for the game, so the devs would be able to feed their kids"
MCTBG: "Maybe you should get another hobby then you entitled moron. I'll be buying 5 pro and 6 Scorpios to go with my 1k throwaway Apple 7 phone so it makes no difference to me."
MCTBG: "Oh, before you moan about VR. VR isn't a fad, kid, it's here to stay!!"
Thanks, I may have to give them a go then. I only got my ps4 a few months ago so I've missed out on most of the ps+ games so far sadly. I know a lot of people knock ps+ and gwg but I think they're really good for trying out games u wouldn't actually have paid for

PS+ members get an additional 10% off the headline price i.e. 10% off £34.99, bringing it down to £6.49.

Pretty sure Sony have since confirmed that there will be no cost attached to patches

What Sony have confirmed is they themselves won't be charging for those patches. Nowhere does it state 3rd party devs/publishers won't charge. I take everything IGN say with a pinch of salt, but at the same time, I wouldn't put anything past these people nickel-and-diming us at every opportunity they get. It's the next natural step.
