Minicruises for two people over the Christmas period are 104£ for 3 days (need an additional hotel booking for the one night stay in the place of your choice). Cheaper for 2 day at 84£ (no need for additional hotel).
Done the 2 day one before but didn't get enough time in the place.
Seems a good price... Should be some Christmas markets on and its during school holidays.

We did this two years ago, not much of a Christmas market in Bruges. However, the place looks amazing with all the lights and beautifully decorated shop windows. Only downside is the ferry, where they constantly remind you on the speaker that the breakfast bar is open. Would not mind but it's is like every 15 minutes from 6.30am. Great deal but just don't expect to get much sleep.

If you're staying the extra night take a trip to Ghent (30 minutes on the train) as it has a larger Christmas market.

PS I recently did this trip & one of the officers told me they will be replacing the 2 for 1 deal with a half price deal that makes it more attractive for larger groups. This hasn't been announced yet, so keep your eyes peeled.

Link is dead and i can't find the offer on the P&O site....
You're right - despite me copy & pasting it from my browser. Is there a general problem with links?

Indeed, I wonder why the embedded link is screwed.

You can go into the site and find the offers. Just worked out can get the ferry for £100 from Hull to Rotterdam, Inc transfers to Amsterdam. Book a hotel for between £70 & £100 - 2 days and 1 night stay in Amsterdam (additional 2 nights on ferry) £170 can't go wrong! between now and March next year. obviously 2 day mini cruise is cheaper but hard work imo.

Have you edited the OP? I'm sure there was a reference to the Beautiful South. Or I'm going mad.

You can fly to Brussels for £9 each way, surely that's better. and get the train to your destination?

Did this a year or so ago in November. Sea was rough as anything, ship bouncing around. I loved it ! The Missus not so much. Food was good on board, would definitely recommend the additional food package.
Only one fly in the ointment, coming back, took over 2 hours to disembark due to British Customs processing people at the speed of darkness. Those who had been before were up at 6.00am to get to the front of the queues.
