Cold ink costs a fortune & tri colour carts still so one colour runs out & you end up changing the cart binning the other 2 colours that haven't run out.
Why anyone buys hp these days is beyond me
Just bought an A3 Epson workforce printer for £90 from Amazon wf-7610dwf, the inks are £1.49 each 3rd party which are plenty good enough

like rich44 said - epson printers quickly make up for their higher cost with low 3rd party ink costs. the XP-235 can be had on amazon now for 35 quid...there is a link at the bottom of the page for a 4 pack or replacement cartridges for a fiver (4 blacks and 4 multi colour) giving you 5 cycles of printing for 40 quid. this print 3rd would cost just over 100 quid for the same.

The Epson xp-235 isn't the sx-235 replacement inks aren't working due to firmware upgrade! Mine went back yesterday.
Got a HP 3630 for £40 from JL £10 coming back due to it being £29 in Rymans plus 2 year guarantee.
£1.99 for 50 sheets per month with HP ink subscription that they do. Only need it for my little ones school work so we don't print many sheets.

It all depends how much printing the buyer is going to do, just the odd colour printing with mainly black and white printing and it could take them a few years to spend £70 on ink at £10 a cartridge.

thanks for the tip. I'll look into this now, it's the ink that cost you an arm and a leg my old printer I had for 5 years in constant use

for someone who very rarely prints it sounds like a good deal.
ink here for £17. Which hopefully wouldn't need replacing for a while..
Not sure what the difference is (2130 vs 2134) but they seem to be almost identical
Probably just no USB cable included, knowing HP's naming schemes

Quote " can fit on your desk ", misleading I think because it depends on the size of your desk.

"It uses HP’s lowest-priced ink cartridges" -- £30 for set of originals.

it does come with ink you know, maybe you are quoting the "XL" price above...you should be able to buy the usual size for under £20 somewhere i'm sure.
