Mine get used for the DIY jobs inside and out, but during the summer get nicked for duty as bench seats with a camping table, washing basket stand and many, many other jobs.

They're also perfect as camping seats/mini tables, with a dual purpose to allow you to get into the roof box when you land - unless of course you're a basketball player or use a sports car to transport your roof box.

FYI in our heritage , a foot was the length of someones foot and inch was width of a mans thumb ,

Edward111 the wool stone was 14 pounds , the yard was the circumference around a Kings waist .

It is much easier to visualise a persons size, 8 stone , 16 stone , 30 stone , etc just as it is to visualise a room size in yards or feet .

Load 150 kg in real money is 23.64 stone , so sounds a sturdy bit of kit as some aluminum products have a tendency to dent or bend. Thanks OP

Ordered & paid for this yesterday, just got a call from the nominated branch to say "sorry although you've bought & paid for it, they've run out & we have to refund you", marvellous, thought it was against consumer law to sell something you don't actually have..!!

Looks pretty good quality and its basically the same as the one they have on offer for 19.99 but with different colored feet, looks like they were just clearing out this one with an older code.

I've got a couple of these, really useful, light, and sturdy. Just remember to lock the red catches on the sides before stepping up. In 6 to 7 years of buying from screwfix I've personally never seen this cheaper. Great find.

The reviews are v v good, I've just taken back the cheap one from Aldi that bust so having read the reviews this should do just fine

Hot, but got one! These are very useful and safer and more comfortable than a stepladder to reach ceiling height. Ideal for painting ceilings.

When you own one you realize how useful they actually are. excellent little bit of kit.

Saw them too, they are branded Beldray like those cleaning products that come with orange bits but these come with black feet for £20 + was about to buy one but lucky held back. This deal post will do for me.:smiley:

Good price, I was looking to buy one for the dulux challenge last week or so. Cheapest I've found was £23 on eBay otherwise £28 on Amazon.

edit: this product is actually £23 delivered so ends up being same as ebay, price wise its the same for me as no screwfix near me.

Great find - couldn't stomach the £29 or £39 it was at when I was looking to get one for decorating last week so picked one up for £20 at B&Q on offer - best things ever for just out of reach jobs :laughing:

These platforms are really useful around the house , and at this price a bargain.
