It's very resource intensive to produce these devices, especially the mining of rare earth metals that these phones use, which doesn't just badly damage the environment but also has low ethical workplace standards, in some cases some of the nastiest work is done by children. It's best to carefully consider what you're buying because of this in my opinion, rather than just buy whatever is cheap and throw it in the bin if it doesn't work as intended.

Ex-China for this item. General concensus for Gearbest items is that unless you request big-name courier delivery such as DHL or UPS, the other shipping methods (including "British Express") do not tend to be pulled by customs. There was/is even a HUKD user who guaranteed that an item shipped via a non-name-courier would not attract customs interest! My own experiences of many orders with Gearbest tends to support this theory.

The problem with a lot of bad reviews of these cheap Chinese phones is that they are expecting iPhone/S7 quality for chuck away prices.
I have purchased several of these phones for friends and always told them what they can expect so they don't complain and are quite happy. Give them the differing spec points and they choose a brand and model that suites them best. For instance some of these phones will give you 4G on both sim slots, my Samsung S7 dual sim only gives it on one sim slot.
If it's made by Doogee, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

The simple solution to your issues. Pay with Paypal. If a fault occurs, Paypal will find in your favour because Paypal do not allow phones with removable lithium ion batteries to be sent via international post.

That sounds fishy to me. Joking aside, I wonder why it takes 10y to have decent power management. Power mgt should be simple, except Android (and all the apps) want to keep running/prodding the wifi which in turn uses more power. Annoying you cant just kill apps on Android (if you could, the notifications wouldnt persist even after killing an app).

I have the Y100 Pro from them which is a similar thing, not a problem with it, in fact it's the most stable phone I've ever owned never crashed in almost year I've owned it, every phone I've ever owned including an iPhone and a Motorola have not done that. The only thing that is a negative is battery life, it only had a 1800Mah battery so it lasts about a day if you are using the thing, so I guess a 3000mah battery will last a couple of days, although Android 6.0 supposedly has batter power management so who knows.

TT uses 800Mhz, so yes. As far as I can tell, all 4G operators in the UK are covered with the bands this phone has.
I bought this when it was on here for about £35. It's a really good phone, partly thanks to Android 6 giving it good features. The camera isn't very good but something had to give on a phone this cheap with good spec elsewhere. You even get a screen protect and clear case included in the box! If it works fine, if it stops working chuck it in the bin, not worth sending back, as they will do anything to avoid repairing or replacing, my phone worked for a week, and stopped never to go again, I sent it back, cheaply but tracked to their offices, emailed them and they said they never received it, luckily I had used Paypal and after haggling with them, they paid me back, so all ended well for me. I've ordered 3 things from Gearbest, all arrived no problems. One item was a Cubot phone, worked great for 2 weeks then packed up. Took 3 weeks to convice them it was broken, they told me to send it back to China as cheaply as possible to avoid customs even though I bought it from the EU warehouse. After 6 weeks waiting I emailed them, they said without a tracking number they could do nothing, I told them what the email said about sending it back cheaply and they basicly said no tracking number means they can do nothing and regard it as lost.
So cheap prices, good delivery but rubbish customer services and returns.
