Voted hot for the free weekend rather than the price. Been curious to try this out for a while, but the reviews have put me off paying more than the classic £7.49 biting point. Free is even better.

I hear this one is no better, but hey, free weekend is a free weekend. Better off is the UBI club 14th Sept get The Crew free to keep, legacy game a month to then end of the year, just saying.

Got this for xb1. played it once, didn't take to it.

tried it tonight for about an hour and a half not sure about this one I did enjoy the first one for what it was I will probably pick this up if it ever hits around £5

Is it the multiplayer or the full game free?

Haven't seen a single positive review for this yet. I mean I know you get the usual "10 - best game evaaaaa" on Metacritic but I mean from reliable sources.

The first one was quite good but it was far too short. I remember turning a corner, destroying a barricade and that was the game over. That was quite disappointing!

Despite the patch, recent reviews are still a mixed 46% compared to 45 overall. Requires around 40gb disk space. Not sure a weekend of gameplay regarding a game that may still have major flaws alike the ones on release, for a hefty download, is worth.

I played it for around 2 hours this morning - it was reasonably entertaining up until I cleared the first zone, then it puts you in a new place which was pitch black and all of the mobs were on high alert. It was so dark I stumbled into them before I saw them and a firefight ensued where more and more mobs spawn (never ending from what I could tell) until you run and hide ... but remember, it is pitch black so this is very random!

You can't use your torch as this also alerts the mobs you are there.

So, after 2 hours of having some good fun with the game, I tried the new zone for around 30 mins and just got frustrated with the constant sneaking and blind running ... uninstalled!

Nice to get to try it for a couple of hours for free though, and the game ran very smoothly on a GTX970/i5 set up.

I've been enjoying it but stopped for dinner at the second zone. I really need an CPU upgrade from my fx 8320 it's clearly the culprit for my frame drops but a new skylake cpu/mobo and ddr4 ram is so expensive.

I wouldn't bother, save you bandwith & coin!
