I think it's to do with the £10 off £50 off code. I got a few things with Fifa 17. Used the freebie codes & £10 off & £20 off code which I got for them screwing me over with the PS4 console deal. Total should be £16.10 but they charged me £19.98! I've messed around with the codes and it's the £10 off £50 spend that messes it up. I've even added items to make the total £80+ but the code still doesn't add it up correct amount though the more you spend the less the difference. A glitch or Sainsburys trying a sneaky one. I ordered it anyway & I will put in a complaint once I get the items.

How does the 'slot' thing work for collection. Do I have to turn up between the two times? What if I have a heart attack on the way and need to go to hospital? Or is it just turn up after the slot? If I can just collect after the time the whole book a slot thing seems arbitrary to me.

The idea of a 'slot' is to help a consumer to be in their house.. The idea of Click and Collect is to help the consumer turn up at any time.

I fiddled with it too, awful website, but I got fifa and worms, some of the freebies, but some of them are not in our local store. Forgot to change it to don't substitute and went back on, another of the freebies wouldn't let me check out. Hate the website even more now. It all should be coming tomorrow between 9 -10pm for a quid. Thought I was being very good by not adding any prosecco to the delivery, got till 11pm so it may still get added yet, I deserve it I think!

To be fair it's not too clear but here's what you wanna do:

1. Click on this link - scroll down to the 'freebies' section and add each available item to your basket
2. Either click 'n' collect OR get it delivered by choosing a delivery time
3. Add Fifa 17
4. Add all the codes for the freebies that you added earlier

Just make sure the pre-discount price all adds up to over £60. If not, add a few things of your own choosing.

Done!

That is the same for everyone, you get a £7.75 discount on the £9.50 worth of "freebies" when you combine it with the £18 off £60. If you look at peoples screenshots they get a £25.75 reduction for vouchers, excluding the £18 that leaves £7.75 yet the freebies come to £9.50.

Basically you pay £1.75 to get the £18 off without having to order an extra £9.50 worth of stuff.

All codes worked for me except FREELITTLEDISH. I placed my order to arrive tomorrow but forgot to put i didn't want substitites. I went back into my account and changed this under the preferences section but still showing items i ordered as substitutes allowed. So was wondering if amendments can't be made after an order has been put through?

Sainsburys doesn't live stock check so it'll be an issue as their stock levels on games tends to be poor, particularly after the night shift have taken their copy for the end of the shift.

There's an option to put them in at Checkout. You need to have a total spend of £60. The AFFVDXTTSM code takes £18 off a £60 spend and the freebie codes take another £7 off, taking it down to £35. Although some of the freebie codes might not be working, in which case, add something of equal value that you actually want to your Basket and you'll be paying a couple of quid more.

Nice one OP, managed to get Fifa, a few of the freebies, 12 small Staropramen and 2 big Peroni for £39!

For anyone struggling with this, as it took me a while to work out, heres tge easiest way to do it:

1)Add fifa to your cart.
2)Add any other items to bring the total to £60
3)Add all the freebies (If it doesn't allow you to redeem code I think its because the particular item is not in stock at your selected store. If you try another flavour etc it may then work)
4) Go to checkout and redeem the £18 off code first. In my case this brought trolley cost to around £43
5)Then, redeem all the freebie codes. This will reduce the price by the value of the freebies. In my case, only 3 codes worked but knocked off another £4 from the total, bringing final cost down to £39

Mine was delivered this morning, fifa 17 PS4 and 20 guiness plus freebies. Excellent. £42.50.

I didn't add Fifa! I think its just a way of getting it cheaper. I ended up getting a PS4 controller and game to go with the PS4 bundle I got from Game. I think the deal is £18 off £60 spend plus a few freebies (which were giving a bigger discount than they cost for some - but I think thats ended)
