Wonderful piece of kit. I've had mine around 10 years now. Same design and features, and I think I even paid slightly more than it is now.

Is this a decent size for a fairly good sized meal? I know you can buy different sizes so am a bit unsure

For a family I would say a 5 litre. I had a 5 litre for 2 people and there was always 2 full meals left. Which wasn't a problem. As you just chill it down and put it into a clean pan and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Gently reheat and you have another tremendous meal. And of course, with a 5 litre you can always scale down but it is difficult to scale up with only a 3 litre! All being said, 7 quid for this little baby and a handful of recipes and you'll be having a warm and nutritious winter. So much so that it is going on my list of basic human rights.
