Wedding Vs gaming graphics card? Man up, get your other half told that ONE argument the whole wedding/mantrap is off and you're buying a whole new system and she can go back to her mothers.
Pffft getting married, were talking 8gb ddr5, twin fan cooling solution, Pascal here! Ha

Seems, they raised a price. If it would not change tomorrow, I will expire this deal.

This is a rebadged 1050 Gtx card. Buy it for this price - jokes on you. Remember my words in 6 months.

980ti is still an amazing card and great for vr too. Also maxes out battlefield 1 at 1440p

I know the X1950 Pro AGP came out like a year later and was a bit faster. But that was the last of the high end AGP cards. The interface was as good as dead by 2005 anyway, I just happened to have an old Northwood pentium 4 at the time I was delaying to upgrade to core 2 launch lol

Are there any other recommendations for a 1070 with better reviews around this price? I was going to get the Palit one at £359 this weekend.

Gainward used to build quality stuff but I am sceptical these days. 10 years ago I had an AGP 7800 Gainward Bliss Golden Sample in a machine which was by far the fastest AGP card of the time, it was fantastic.

I had that GS+ too. Was pretty much regarded as the fastest AGP card.

Palit jet stream has/had some issues. Don't remember what but Google it.
This on the other hand is hot hot hot! I'm seriously considering canceling my preorder for the Asus 1060. £229 quid opposed to £349. Getting married in two weeks. Decisions lol

As much as I want a 1070 and this is a good price, I can't :disappointed:
In order to benefit from a 1070 I'm going to need a new monitor and a decent 1440p 27" IPS G-Sync with no quality issues and under £500 doesn't, exist which I personally think is more shocking than the current GPU situation.

Depends how cheap you can get it for.
Used ones can be had for under £290 which is a good price imo considering it matches the 1070 in terms of performance.

Hey i'm relatively new to PC gaming, but was looking at the 980TI upgrade from my 970. Is 980TI not worth it now? Thanks for any advice

Ouch. I have a gtx 770 at the min and waiting to see if the prices on the 10 series settle a bit. Ati are bringing nothing to the table other than napkins for nvidia :disappointed:

Gainward are owned by Palit, and have some of the worst warranty terms. Not saying they're bad, but personally I'll be waiting for cards from one of the more premium brands to drop to this price.
