so .... a bargain is not a bargain, if its found in a bargain shop's bargains

Sorry, just really don't understand why people post B+M Bargains on here, the clue is in the name, Bargains. Listings should be reserved for proper deals, not this kind of thing. I'm not exactly going to jump on the bus, train and walk a mile for one, makes no sense. Same as beans, peas, biscuits etc...
That's just my opinion, sure many of you would disagree. Thanks for listing, on my way as we speak, what time is the next bus?
Voted HOT by the way, well you just couldn't vote any other way, could you?

so when BM Bargains sell branded products at a price well below they are available elsewhere that is not a deal?

You're worng. Oh so worng, my freind. In 1982, me and a group of my freinds once walked 28 miles from our houses in Cwmbran just to see a dead body that had been rumoured to exist in Pontypool. Along the way some of us bonded over our hatred of prawn cocktail crisps and that the power and grafiks of the ZX Spectrum was better than the C64 (in years to come Morgan Freeman would show us we were wrong). So we walked those 28 miles from the dead of dawn to the dead of night, head held high, even when we found out it was only 4 miles and we were navigationally eedjits (as the Irish might say) but at the end of it the journey turned out to be more important than the destination.
Now when a deal crops up on this site that's too good to be true sometimes I might climb out of my rocking chair a bit too fast, and maybe my head might spin a little, but just like those days when I was young and fun and the spectacle of something that I'd never before seen would draw me and my freinds out to an adventure that might be worth a tale or two... well god-darn I'll still say give it a try. Unlike us you might never get to see a horrifically bloated human corpse that'll make your dreams scream forever, but maybe you'll get a bargain on some hot sauce, and who's to say, in the face of history, is the real winner?

Every deal doesn't have to benefit everyone. If you're passing a B&M, because of this deal you can nip in. Otherwise, you're wasting your own time specifically going out for one item

Because even for B&M this price would be bargain, they'd normally sell this for around £1, so 29p would be a price you wouldn't expect to pay normally at B&M, so it worth posting. If it was the regular price they sell it for, then I would sort of see your point, but when it's below their normal selling price it makes perfect sense to post the deals.

Holeinone you have a very appropriate name... keep digging that hole you're in. That poundland example you gave was just daft. This is a site for great deals, just because a shop has the name "bargain" in it doesn't mean it can't have better deals than normal. Not to mention the fact that Asda have better prices.
Again, a name doesn't mean anything...

this person sounds so special...
b+m may be next to where i am. on on my way to where I'm going.
or this may be my most favourite item dip now i know i can fill my boots at rock bottom price... if i know something i like is really cheap somewhere it may mean i decode to go there...
this is a community site where we try to help each other.(i never find anything worth sharing!)
this deal would have helped me if i had the time to go. i want this sauce!!!
HEAT FOR THE OP!

I like normal Frank's and Frank's extra hot, is this actually any good?? never heard of it before.

Yes it's pretty good. Nothing like normal Frank's but has a nice flavour not just heat.
Bought 3 bottles for 29p will buy more next time I'm at b&m.

So, it retails at £5, B+M normally sell it for £1 even though it's a reduction from 49p, now 29p. Surely you're having a laugh!

If you are interested in giant pandas it is useful if someone tells you it is Edinburgh zoo you should go to

10 Sep 16#19
It was 49p, what's the matter with you?
termite to Holeinone
10 Sep 16#23
That isn't the price that people who buy it from independent shops or Tesco etc will pay and they may not just pop in to B&M Bargains on the off-chance that some of their favourite hot sauce is in stock that week. That is why it is a useful post.
CardboardCutout
10 Sep 16#22
But the point this site is to know which specific things are cheaper. Stock changes all the time, sales happen, without people taking the time to post deals you'll have to traipse round the shops when one doesn't have the item you're looking for
Holeinone
10 Sep 16#21
B+M Bargains, clue in the name. A bit like going to the Zoo and seeing animals, we all know things are cheaper there. That's what my initial point was.

B&M Bargains have a limited quantity they are selling at the bargain price of 29p, it's not normally that price. That's why this is a deal.
What's the matter with you?

How has the price managed to get from 29p to £5?

If someone loves this sauce and was going to pay £5 for it this weekend from a local deli, but sees a post on here that B&M Bargains currently have it available for a few pence then this would be useful.
It seems just as valid as if I was going to buy a kettle from Currys and then saw on here that it was a few quid cheaper at John Lewis

right! when a super market puts 'reduced to clear' board and sells items for more then a bargain shops price .... thats a real good deal.

It's difficult I agree, finding a bargain in a Bargain shop. Sort of like, finding something for a pound in a Pound shop.
