Hexi-burners - :laughing: that brings back memories of awful tasting tea and bacon grill from ration packs - hopefully the fuel nowadays doesn't flavour the food and drink - hmmmm...now I'm craving biscuits brown and soft cheese :confused:

Tinned cheese was my favourite in the 10 man ! I learned to like it as everyone else hated it .... more for me then !!

Had dried apple flakes in 1980. Just add water and you get er... hot apple sauce. Most people used to swear by them with crushed up oatmeal biscuits.
Best thing I ever found in a ratpack was an Aztec bar about ten years after they had been discontinued. And Old English Spangles.

Spangles were new, when I was in. :man:
