good price. Personaly ive just bought a second hand Samsung gear fit 2 for the same price. Took me ages to decide which tracker to go for. Stayed away from fitbits and MS band 2 for build quality issues. Nearly bought the Garmin vivosmart HR as it seems the most robust but limited to just running on the App apparently and the HR monitor sticks out like a brick on them.
The samsung is so comfortable to wear, small form factor, has loads of different activitys, auto recognition, great screen and decent battery life considering the latter.

No problem with the strap - it's the original Charge that has a problematic strap. Great price, this will probably continue to drop with the Charge 2 coming soon

Had 2 fitbit charge hrs for parents, can confirm that strap problem at least occurred with one of them. Thankfully fitbit are a solid company and rather than send me a new strap, they sent an entirely new fitbit hr and didn't even request for old one.

Bought 2 fitbit charge hr for parents last Christmas. Can confirm one had strap issue but thankfully Fitbit was great in replacing not just the strap, but actually sent an entirely new one to me whilst not needing me to send the broken one with strap considering the device is fine and just strap was bulging. Solid company.

Just received a replacement today for the strap failing too (HR model approx 6 months old) As already mentioned they are very good and just sent out a replacement and told me to bin the old one, didn't even have the receipt but they tracked it from first use.

Fitbit are quick to replace the dodgy rubber on Charger HRs, but once your warranty runs out, you're screwed. These things warp very easily, and it's a known issue. I've had two replacements in six months.

This is a decent price with two year warranty.

Hi, hope you don't mind me asking but I have a hr charge that is around 11 monthsbold and the strap started peeling and has now snapped where its come unstuck. How easy is the fitbit replacement and what sort of details do you need to provide ect ? Is it best to email them and they will request pictures ? Also is the serial number of my device linked in my account ? I've been without it for a week or so and my wrist feels naked after over 2 1/2 years of wearing a tracker ... Thanks for a reply if you have the time to it will of been much appreciated ... Thanks p.s do they definitely have a 2 year warranty and do they require you to return the broken one if they see it is clearly broken ?

Pro Tip. If the battery life doesnt last the 5 days they state (Mine lasts 2 days and 1 night) complain, they will send you a replacement but let you keep the original

I recently had a replacement, all I did was email them, they replied asking when I purchased it, I told them a rough date, they replied saying it matched when I first used it and said they'd arrange a replacement which turned up without having to show pictures, receipt or anything
I will say it took them a day or two to get back to me each time but can't really fault them tbh

Agree with strap issues. I'm currently on my 3rd Charge HR. The strap peeled away on the first two. Now the same thing is happening to this one. But they've all been replaced for free so no complaints from me.

I sent them an email via their website and they replied asking me to take a photo of the damage with a handwritten note next to it saying a case number they provided. That along with my details and they are sending me a replacement and told me to recycle my old one.

Thanks I decided to email them shortly ago. Mine started peeling then when u left it I thought you have to take pictures post the faulty one back ect so I put it off. However it came completely unstuck on one side and is strapless on one side now so I can't wear it anymore. Hopefully I will get that lucky and it will be painless and I will just have to provide them with a address to send to and the details of purchase place and date. Hopefully won't have to do through Basel of posting back but don't mind providing photos if ask. Thanks for getting back to me was much appreciated as it is a great device for what it is barr this fault.

If you want one of these for cheap, get one with a broken strap of ebay for around £25 and then get a case for the fibit of ebay for approx. £3. I used the case on mine when the strap came off whilst waiting for the replacement and it did the same job and held the straps on. I then gave my old one to a friend. Cheap way to get into it, and you can get some funky cases.

I'm on my 4th Charge HR in 11 months. The strap is terrible but the customer service is alright about replacement.

Get a vivosmart hr, waterproof! No need to keep removing it

Hey guys, any suggestions on something waterproof with a decent heartrate monitor? I see mention of the vivosmart hr here, any other suggestions? I want to be able to go running, swimming and cycling with it, though a model to do all three seems to be hard to come by. Personal experiences much appreciated.

On my 4th Charge HR will never buy Fitbit again. Brilliant bit of kit extremely poor quality control and product liability issues. Peeling wristbands, tracker unit falling apart, wristbands breaking.

I got it for £49 last november off the Bupa shop. It is amazing and I love the app sync too. But one died, but was easily replaced...only for this one to peel apart! The rubber peels above the screen and you can't put it back in. Looks horrible to wear now! Such a shame.

obviously dumping version 1 stock as version 2 has just been released. Pass on this and i think we will see a load of retailers selling for the same price of less in the coming weeks.

I got a cheap MS Band 1 from O2 and it's a great bit of kit. I love the email integration. I'll go for the Band 2 when this one dies. Been good for nearly a year now though.

Looks like the deal is over now folks, price now up a tenner.
