Never seen it any cheaper. Yes, Yes I know, Uplay is bad. but it still works perfectly for many gamers.
edit:Even if you would buy just steam version, it will force you to use uplay account anyway(start game on steam--> than steam starts uplay platform--> than uplay starts the game( thanks #battenberg)

The Steam version has the same proprietary Uplay nonsense anyway so it doesn't matter which platform you get the key for. Good price!

Nothing wrong with Uplay.
They are giving away free games at the moment by the way.
If you want Rayman Origins, jump in and download it, before the next freebie pops up.

If you use steam you download and manage the content through steam and only authenticate through uplay whereas if you buy it through uplay you have to use their terrible client to download and manage the content which last time I used it didn't even support transferring or backing up the content. I gave up on the last games I bigot through uplay as it was going to take two weeks of 24 hour downloading to get the game due to a bug in the client which had been going on a long time and that many people suffered that ubisoft wouldn't even acknowledge.

This is an absolute PITA to order, they took payment from my debit card, then they blocked sending the game as they required a picture of photo ID with their logo or handwritten ID next to it. WTF!??

never heared of such experiences. Maybe because gamers usually use PayPal. but paying with card should not require such ridicules things like mentioned by you.

An extra £1.67 to use paypal which was why I used debit card.

Now they're saying that the card was not used in the usual country. UK card from UK bank ordered from UK site to my UK address by me in the UK. Sigh!
Not very instant gaming.

Something is not right. i bought at least 2 games there via PayPal and was never charged any fee for using PayPal.

They do want a charge for using paypal, and they do want I.D if you use a card to avoid this. Also expect a bunch of spam to your signup emails.
Basically they are indeed a royal PITA and would rather deal with someone else

In my opinion yes! To give you an example, I completed FC3 and FC4 within days of them being released and purchased all the DLC for them - I bought FCP on release day and still haven't bothered to complete it! If you can see past the dialogue (dodgy prehistoric babble which means you HAVE to read the subtitles with no way of getting the characters to speak English) which really annoys me there are a few elements to enjoy but the weapons are very limited to fit in with the theme so no guns obviously, but the missions are all similar with not much variation so I put it down after 10 or so hours and won't be buying any DLC for it...
