Such a fun series but they have always been budget titles at heart.
This was way too expensive when it first came out but this is a great price. About the same as I paid for the PS2 game years ago!
Just one word of warning though..........look out for giant insects.

Doesn't look too dissimilar to Transformers that will be free next month on Plus.

The only similarity is they both contain giant robots - EDF has more in common with something like Dynasty Warriors. Lottttttttttttts of baddies and lots of fun.

can say that about a lot of games then cant you,by your logic all FPS are the same, all RPG are the same etc because they share certain themes, hell by that logic you could say 90% of games are the same and there is no point playing them and really what was the point of your post, even if the where similar who really cares if someone enjoys that type of game??

Have to agree with the other guy. I own both games and this doesn't have the same look or feel of the transformers game.
Completely different game styles, progression, this has 4 player co-op and this one will also take you 600+ hours to platinum it you want to try it, compared to transformers 10ish hours.
It's like saying you may as well get any car as they are all cars even though once you get inside they are all different.

I've got this and the PS Vita game from the series and love both of them. Not one for long slogs, but perfect for a quick level or two.

This is too cheap to pass. I played a lot of 2025 on PS3 so buying the PS4 port of it seems like a no brainer for this price.
